Tomohisa Yamashita is cast in Netflix movie “A Blueprint for Love.” The film is a remake of 2021 South Korean film “Architecture 101” starring Uhm Tae-Woong, Han Ga-In, Lee Je-Hoon, & Bae Suzy. For movie “A Blueprint for Love,” Tomohisa Yamashita will play lead male character Ibuki. In his college days, Ibuki met a woman named Yuna and fell in love, but they eventually parted ways. 19 years later, they meet again.
“A Blueprint for Love” will stream on Netflix sometime next year.

Hiroshi Tamaki, Haruna Kawaguchi, & Jun Shison cast in live-action film “The Way of the Househusband.” Movie is based on webcomic “Gokushufudo” by Kousuke Oono. 2020 NTV drama series “The Way of the Househusband” is based on the same webcomic. Hiroshi Tamaki, Haruna Kawaguchi, & Jun Shison will reprise their respective characters from the NTV drama series for the live-action film version. Also cast for supporting roles and reprising their characters from the drama series are: Naoto Takenaka, Izumi Inamori, Tamaki Shiratori, Kenichi Takito, Yuta Furukawa, Junpei Yasui, Tina Tamashiro, Megumi, and Michiko Tanaka. Actors who will play new characters for the live-action film will be announced at a later date.
“The Way of the Househusband” will be released sometime this summer in Japan.
Shinichi Tsutsumi is cast in TBS live-action drama series “If My Wife Become An Elementary School Student” (literal title). The drama series is based on manga series “Tsuma, Shougakusei ni Naru” by Yayuu Murata. For the drama series, Shinichi Tsutsumi will play Keisuke Niijima. He is still unable to get over his wife’s death from 10 years ago and then a strange girl appears in front of him.

Caption on the teaser poster states “Early summer, of the year when I fell for you.” The teaser poster also reveals that ep.1 of “Our Beloved Summer” will air December 6, 2021. Ahn Bo-Hyun and Jo Bo-Ah are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Military Prosecutor Doberman” (literal title). Also cast for major supporting character roles are Oh Yeon-Su, Kim Young-Min, & Kim Woo-Seok. The drama series will have Ahn Bo-Hyun playing Do Bae-Man. He works as a military prosecutor, but just views his job as a means to make money. Jo Bo-Ah will play Cha Woo-In. She is a rookie prosecutor. Do Bae-Man and Cha Woo-In work together on cases involving the military.
“Military Prosecutor Doberma” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

Jaehyun from boy band NCT is cast for a lead role in KakaoTV drama series “Bungee Jumping of Their Own.” The drama series is a remake of 2001 South Korean film “Bungee Jumping of Their Own” starring Lee Byung-Hun & Lee Eun-Ju. In the drama series, Jaehyun will play high school student Lim Hyeon-Bin. He reminds his teacher of his deceased girlfriend.
Filming for “Bungee Jumping of Their Own” will begin January, 2022 and the drama series will be available to stream sometime in the second half of next year.

Lee Joon, Kang Han-Na, & Jang Hyuk are cast in KBS2 drama series “Red Single Heart” (literal title). The drama series is in historical times and Lee Joon will play King Lee Tae. The vice premiere, who holds more power than the king, will be played by Jang Hyuk. Kang Han-Na will play Yoo Jung. She is in a relationship with King Lee Tae. For Lee Joon and Jang Hyuk, the two men last worked together in 2013 KBS2 drama series “IRIS 2.”
