Lee Joon-Ho & Lim Yoon-A cast in drama “King the Land”

Lee Joon-Ho and Lim Yoon-A are cast in drama series “King the Land” (working title). The romantic-comedy is set in the present days and has Lee Joon-Ho play Gu Won. He comes from a chaebol family that runs the King Group. Lim Yoon-A will play Cheon Sa-Rang. She works at the King Hotel and develops a romantic relationship with Gu Won. The working title of the drama series “King the Land” refers to the VVIP business lounge at King Hotel.

Filming is expected to begin autumn, 2022. Broadcasting station and air date for the drama series has not yet been decided.

Jung Il-Woo & Kwon Yuri cast in Sky TV drama “Good Job”

Jung Il-Woo and Kwon Yuri are cast for lead roles in Sky TV drama series “Good Job.” The duo previously starred together in 2021 MBN drama series “Bossam: Steal the Fate.” In “Good Job,” Jung Il-Woo will play Eun Sun-Woo. He owns the biggest company in Korea, but he also secretly works as a private detective. Kwon Yuri will play Don-Se-Ra. She has a special visual condition, hyperacuity, that she uses to help people.

“Good Job” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for movie “A Hundred Flowers”

Teaser trailer added for movie “A Hundred Flowers” starring Masaki Suda & Mieko Harada. Movie is based on 2019 novel “Hyakka” by Genki Kawamura and also directed by him. Also announced today for supporting roles in the film are Masami Nagasawa & Masatoshi Nagase. Masami Nagasawa will play Kaori, who is married to Izumi Kasai (Masaki Suda).  Masatoshi Nagase will play Yohei Asaba. He is involved in Yuriko Kasai’s (Mieko Harada) secret.

“A Hundred Flowers” will be released September 9, 2022.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “I Am Makimoto” starring Sadao Abe. Movie is directed by Nobuo Mizuta. Director Nobuo Mizuta and actor Sadao Abe have previously worked together in comedy films “Maiko haaaan!!!,” “No More Cry!!!,” and “The Apology King.” More supporting cast members have also been announced for the film and they are Hikari Mitsushima, Ryudo Uzaki, Kouhei Matsushita, Denden, Suzuki Matsuo, Yoshiyuki Tsubokura, Rie Miyazawa, and Jun Kunimura.

“I Am Makimoto” will be released September 30, 2022 in Japan.

Teaser poser and May 25, 2022 release date set for Disney+ drama series “Kiss Sixth Sense” starring Yoon Kye-Sang & Seo Ji-Hye. Drama series is based on web novel “Kiss Six Sense” by Gatnyeo. The script will have Seo Ji-Hye play a woman with a special ability to see someone’s future whenever her lips touches someone. Yoon Kye-Sang will play her boss. Caption on the teaser poster states “The moment my lips touched, I saw a thrilling future.”

“Kiss Sixth Sense” first streams May 25, 2022 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Yokai Housemate” starring Fuka Koshiba & Ayumu Mochizuki. Movie is a sequel to 2020 TV Asahi drama series “Yokai Housemate” and 2022 TV Asahi drama series “Yokai Housemate 2.” The movie version will have Fuka Koshiba play Mio Meguro, as she continues to live with yokai at a share house and work for a publishing company. She meets AITO (Ayumu Mochizuki) through work and falls for him, but this endangers the yokai.

“Yokai Housemate” is now scheduled for release June 17, 2022 in Japan.
