Kasumi Arimura & Tomoya Nakamura cast in TBS drama “Ishiko and Haneo”

Kasumi Arimura & Tomoya Nakamura are cast in TBS drama series “Ishiko and Haneo” (literal title). The drama series features an original screenplay by Masafumi Nishida (“Humanoid Monster, Bem“). The drama series will have Kasumi Arimura play Paralegal Shoko Ishida. She graduated from prestigious Tokyo University, but was unable to pass her bar exam. Tomoya Nakamura will play Yoshio Haneoka. He graduated only from high school, but became a lawyer thanks to his especially keen memory. They begin to work together at a law office.

“Ishiko and Haneo” first airs July, 2022 (takes over TBS’ Friday 10PM time slot after “Invisible“).

Tsubasa Honda cast in TBS drama series “Kimi no Hana ni Naru”

Tsubasa Honda is cast for the lead role in TBS drama series “Kimi no Hana ni Naru.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Erika Yoshida (“Heaven?: My Restaurant, My Life“) and will be directed by Toshio Tsuboi (“Nagi’s Long Vacation“). For the drama series, Tsubasa Honda will play Asuka Nakamachi. She is a former high school teacher, but she lost her job and suddenly begins work at a dormitory for an unpopular 7 member boy band. The leader of the boy band is her former student. Auditions were held to cast the members of the boy band and their identities will be revealed on May 4, 2022. The boy band will also make a real debut and perform together for a limited time.

“Kimi no Hana ni Naru” will first air October, 2022 in Japan.

Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Sore ga Iru Mori”

Teaser trailer and poster added for horror film “Sore ga Iru Mori” starring Masaki Aiba. Movie is directed by Hideo Nakata (“Sadako“). In addition, the first group of supporting cast members have been announced for the film and they are Honoka Matsumoto, Kenshin Uehara, & Noriko Eguchi. The teaser trailer begins with captions that state “One day, met Kuma-san in the forest.” The screenplay is set in a forest that is known for having supernatural phenomena.

“Sore ga Iru Mori” will be released September 30, 2022 in Japan.

Teaser trailer & release date for Netflix drama “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area”

New English subtitled date announcement trailer added for Netflix drama series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” starring Yoo Ji-Tae, Kim Yunjin, & Park Hae-Soo. The drama series has been revealed that it will be released in two parts. Part 1 will premiere June 24, 2022 and consist of 6 episodes. Release date for Part 2 has not yet been announced. The drama series is a remake of Spanish television series “La casa de papel” (“Money Heist”) .

Teaser posters for movie “Broker”

Here’s two teaser posters for upcoming film “Broker” starring Song Kang-Ho, Gang Dong-Won, Bae Doo-Na, IU, & Lee Joo-Young. The film is the first Korean language film directed by award winning director Hirokazu Koreeda (“Shoplifters“).
