Park Hee-Soon cast in SBS drama “Trolley”

Park Hee-Soon is cast for the lead male role for SBS drama series “Trolley” co-starring Kim Hyun-Joo, Park Hee-Soon will play Nam Joong-Do in the drama series. He is a member of the National Assembly and he is about to run for his third term. He strives to make the world a better place. He met his wife, played by Kim Hyun-Joo, when he was doing volunteer work. His wife has a secret which soon throws his life into chaos.

Filming for the drama series is set to begin in the coming days.

Koo Gyo-Hwan cast in movie “New Generation War: Reawakened Man”

Koo Gyo-Hwan is cast in movie “New Generation War: Reawakened Man” (literal title). The movie is based on webcomic “Buwhalnam” by Chae Yong-Taek & Kim Jae-Han. The movie will be the second film directed by Baek Jong-Yeol after directing 2015 movie “The Beauty Inside.” In “New Generation War: Reawakened Man,” Koo Gyo-Hwan will play a young man who is able to reawaken 3 days after being killed. He uses this ability to fight against evil.

Filming for “New Generation War: Reawakened Man” will begin sometime next year in South Korea.

Kim Seo-Hyung cast in Seezn drama “Paper Moon”

Kim Seo-Hyung is cast for the lead role in Seezn drama series “Paper Moon” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2012 novel “Kami no Tsuki” by Mitsuyo Kakuta. The novel was previously adapted into 2014 NHK drama series “Paper Moon” starring Tomoyo Harada and 2014 movie “Pale Moon” starring Rie Miyazawa. In “Paper Moon,” Kim Seo-Hyung will play Yoo Yi-Hwa. She is a housewife, but begins to work at a bank to break her boredom. She begins to embezzle money from the bank.

Filming for “Paper Moon” will begin sometime this year, but release date has not yet been decided.

Lee Seung-Gi and Lee Se-Young cast in KBS2 drama “Love by Law”

Lee Seung-Gi and Lee Se-Young are cast in KBS2 drama series “Love by Law” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Beobdaero Saranghara” by No Seung-A & Il-Ri. For “Love by Law,” Lee Seung-Gi will play Kim Jung-Ho. He is a former prosecutor, but now lives off of rent collected from a building that he owns. Lee Se-Young will play Kim Yoo-Ri. She is good friends with Kim Jung-Ho and opens a cafe in the building that he owns.

“Love by Law” will first air August 29, 2022 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Monday & Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot after “Minamdang“).

Trailer for movie “I Want to See Your Parents’ Face”

Trailer added for movie “I Want to See Your Parents’ Face” (literal title) starring Sol Kyung-Gu, Chun Woo-Hee, & Moon So-Ri. Filming for the movie took place back in 2017, from May 29th to June 27th. The main trailer begins with Chun Woo-Hee as Teacher Song Jung-Wook reading a student’s last will “I was bullied for a long time.
