Jin Young cast in tvN drama “Yumi’s Cells”

Jin Young is cast for a supporting character role in tvN drama series “Yumi’s Cells” starring Kim Go-Eun. Jin Young will play assistant manager Ba-Bi of the marketing department where title character Yu-Mi (Kim Go-Eun) works. He is popular at work for being handsome and he gets involved with Yu-Mi. The drama series is based on webcomic “Yumi’s Cells” by Lee Dong-Gun. Below are the first still images of Kim Go-Eun as Yu-Mi.

“Yumi’s Cells” will air sometime later this year in South Korea.

Lim Ji-Yeon & Yoon Gyun-Sang cast in TVING drama “The Mansion”

Lim Ji-Yeon and Yoon Gyun-Sang are cast for lead roles in TVING drama series “The Mansion.” The drama series will be directed by Chang (“The Target“) and scripted by Yoo Kab-Yeol (“Man In Love“). Lim Ji-Yeon will play Ji-Na. Her sister disappeared and Ji-Na tries to find out the truth behind her disappearance. Yoon Gyun-Sang will play Detective Min-Soo. He will work with Ji-Na to find her sister. TVING is one of two primarily South Korean online video platforms, with the other being Waave. TVING features content from cable channels tvN/OCN and JTBC, while Waave features content from major broadcast stations KBS, MBC, and SBS.

“The Mansion” will be available to stream sometime next year.

Song Joong-Ki & Lee Sung-Min cast in JTBC drama “The Chaebol’s Youngest Son”

Song Joong-Ki and Lee Sung-Min are cast in JTBC drama series “The Chaebol’s Youngest Son” (literal title). Song Joong-Ki will play lead male character Yoon Hyun-Woo. He works as a secretary for the Soonyang conglomerate. His job is to manage the personal lives of the Soonyang conglomerate’s family members. This includes fixing problems created by them. He is then killed by the youngest son Jin Do-Joon from the conglomerate family, but his spirit wakes up in the past and within Jin Do-Joon’s body. Meanwhile, Lee Sung-Min will play Jin Yang-Cheol. He is the head of the Soonyang conglomerate. He has an endless desire for money.

“The Chaebol’s Youngest Son” will air sometime next year in South Korea.

“Human Disqualification” is now scheduled to first air September, 2021 in South Korea.

Kim Young-Dae offered lead role in tvN drama “Shooting Star”

Kim Young-Dae has been offered a lead role in tvN drama series “Shooting Star” (literal title). Currently, Kim Young-Dae is “positively considering” the offer. If he accepts, he will play Gong Tae-Sung. The drama series is set within the entertainment world and follows people who work for a star. Meanwhile, Kim Young-Dae is no longer part of the upcoming KBS2 drama series “School 2021.” No reasons were given why he has dropped out of that series.
