English subtitled teaser trailer and poster added for Netflix drama series “Squid Game” starring Lee Jung-Jae & Park Hae-Soo. The drama series is now scheduled to premiere September 17, 2021 on the Netflix platform. The screenplay revolves around a survival game that starts off with 456 contestants and a prize of 45.6 billion won (about $39 million USD). Caption on the teaser poster states “45.6 billion won. Adult’s childlike innocence is destroyed.”

Seohyun cast in drama “The Jinx’s Lover”

Seohyun is cast in drama series “The Jinx’s Lover” (literal title) co-starring Na In-Woo. For the drama series, Seohyun will play lead female character Lee Seul-Bi. Her character has a special ability, which is she is able to see a person’s near future by touching them. She was held in captivity by a CEO, but escapes and meets someone she knew (Na In-Woo) in her past. The drama series is based on webcomic “Jinxui Yeonin” by Han Ji-Hye. Filming for the drama series is expected to start soon.

Teaser poster for tvN drama “Yumi’s Cells”

Teaser poster added for tvN drama series “Yumi’s Cells” starring Kim Go-Eun & Ahn Bo-Hyun. The teaser poster also reveals “Yumi’s Cells” will first air September 17, 2021 at 10:50 PM in South Korea. The drama series will depict a romance between Yu-Mi (Kim Go-Eun) and Gu-Woong (Ahn Bo-Hyun). Yu-Mi is someone who is not good at expressing her feelings. She seeks excitement from her boring everyday routine. Gu-Woong works as a game developer. He has a simple and honest personality. In addition, “Yumi’s Cells” is planned for multiple seasons, but more details about that has not been revealed.

Main cast announced for TVING drama “Strange”

Koo Gyo-Hwan, Shin Hyun-Bin, Kim Ji-Young, Park Ho-San, Kwak Dong-Yeon, and Nam Da-Reum are cast in TVING drama series “Strange.” The drama series is in Jinyang County where a mysterious phenomena occurs. Koo Gyo-Hwan will play Jung Ki-Hoon. He runs monthly magazine and YouTube about occult occurances and goes to Jinyang County to look for answers. Shin Hyun-Bin will play Lee Soo-Jin. She is the ex-wife of Koo Gyo-Hwan. She also goes to Jinyang County in search of answers. The drama series will be directed by Jang Kun-Jae (“Eighteen“) and scripted by Yeon Sang-Ho (“Train To Busan“) & Ryoo Yong-Jae (“Psychopath Diary“).

“Strange” will stream on TVING sometime next year in South Korea.

First script reading for SBS drama series “One the Woman,” starring Lee Ha-Nee & Lee Sang-Yoon, took place May, 2021 in South Korea.
