First teaser trailer for tvN drama “Hometown”

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Hometown” starring Yoo Jae-Myung, Han Ye-Ri, & Um Tae-Goo. The teaser trailer begins with someone picking up a cassette tape that is labelled as “Mix Tape” and playing it. The tape contains unidentified murmuring sounds. Due to this cassette tape, people realize an active serial murder case is connected to a past terror case.

“Hometown” is now set to first air September, 2021 in South Korea.

Jin Ki-Joo is cast for lead female role in MBC drama series “From Now Showtime!” (literal title) co-starring Park Hae-Jin. Jin Ki-Joo will play Go Seul-Hae for the drama series. Go Seul-Hae has a mysterious secret. She works as a police officer at a police substation. She pairs up with magician Cha Cha-Woong (Park Hae-Jin) to solve cases.

“From Now Showtime!” first airs sometime during the first half of 2022 in South Korea.

Kim Se-Jeon cast in SBS drama “The Office Blind Date”

Kim Se-Jeon (Gugudan) is cast for the lead female role in SBS drama series “The Office Blind Date” co-starring Ahn Hyo-Seop. The drama series is based on web novel “Sanae Matsun” by Hae Hwa. Kim Se-Jeong will play the character of Shin Ha-Ri in “The Office Blind Date.” Her character is an ordinary office worker with a bright personality. Circumstances has her going on a blind date with Kang Tae-Mu (Ahn Hyo-Seop), who is the CEO of the company where she works.

Filming for “The Office Blind Date” will being second half of this year and the drama series will air sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.

Shin Hyun-Bin is cast for the lead female role in JTBC drama series “The Chaebol’s Youngest Son” (literal title) co-starring Song Joong-Ki & Lee Sung-Min. In the drama series, Shin Hyun-Bin will play Seo Min-Young. Her character works as a prosecutor. As she follows an illegal succession for a chaebol family, she gets involved with Jin Do-Joon. He is the youngest son of the chaebol family. Seo Min-Young feels love and hate towards him.

“The Chaebol’s Youngest Son” first airs next year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer and 3 teaser posters added for Netflix drama series “D.P.” starring Jung Hae-In, Koo Gyo-Hwan, & Kim Sung-Kyun. The 3 teaser posters has the same caption that states “I am a soldier who catches soldiers.” The script revolves around a military deserter pursuit team (D.P.) who try to catch deserters. Along the way, they encounter stories and obstacles of the people they must catch.

Choo Yeong-Woo is cast in KBS2 drama series “School 2021” starring Kim Yo-Han & Cho Yi-Hyun. Choo Yeong-Woo will play second lead male character Jung Young-Joo. Actor Kim Young-Dae was first cast to play Jung Young-Joo, but he recently decided to drop out of the series. The character of Jung Young-Joo is a transfer student at the school where Gong Ki-Joon (Kim Yo-Han) attends. They knew each other in the past.

Filming for the drama will begin soon and is currently scheduled to first air November, 2021 in South Korea.
