Cho Seung-Woo cast in JTBC drama “Sacred Divorce”

Cho Seung-Woo is cast in JTBC drama series “Sacred Divorce” (literal title). The drama series is based on on webcomic “Shinsunghan, Yihon” by Kang Tae-Kyung and directed by Lee Jae-Hoon (“Run On“). In the drama series, Cho Seung-Woo will play Shin Sung-Han. He changes profession from a music professor to a lawyer specializing in divorce. While taking on clients, he seeks to uncover the truth behind a case that led him to work as a lawyer.

“Sacred Divorce” will air sometime during the first half of 2023 in South Korea.

Main cast announced for Netflix drama”Sweet Home S2″ & “S3”

Song Kang, Lee Jin-Uk, Lee Si-Young, Go Min-Si, Park Gyu-Young are set to return for Netflix drama series “Sweet Home Season 2” and “Sweet Home Season 3.” All five of these performers will reprise characters that they previously played in 2020 Netflix drama series “Sweet Home” as survivors of Green Home apartments. Also cast to play new characters in the sequels are Yu Oh-Seong, Oh Jung-Se, Kim Moo-Yul, and Jin Young. Out of the new characters, Yu Oh-Seong will play Sergeant Tak In-Hwan. He is a leader of the guardian forces, whose main role is to protect humans from the monsters. Oh Jung-Se will play Ph.D. Im. He is an expert in vaccines. Kim Moo-Yul will play Kim Young-Hu. He is the #2 man in the guardian forces. Lastly, Jin Young will play Park Chan-Young. He is a soldier in the guardian forces.

Release date for season 2 and season 3 of “Sweet Home” has not yet been revealed.

Park Ju-Hyun, Kim Young-Dae, & Kim Woo-Seok cast in MBC drama “Geumhonryung, Joseon’s Ban on Marriage”

Park Ju-Hyun, Kim Young-Dae, & Kim Woo-Seok are cast in MBC drama series “Geumhonryung, Joseon’s Ban on Marriage” (literal title). The drama series is based on web novel “Geumhonryung, Joseon Honin Geumjiryung” by Chun Zi-Hye. The drama series is set during the Joseon period. “Geumhonryung” in the drama series title refers to a law that bans marriages when the king is not married. For the drama series, Kim Young-Dae will play King Lee Heon. His wife passed away 7 years ago and he has not been able to get over her or remarried. Park Ju-Hyun will play Ye So-Rang. She is a swindler and because of circumstances makes the wild claim that the spirit of the king’s late wife exists within the royal palace. Kim Woo-Seok will play Officer Lee Shin-Won.

“Geumhonryung, Joseon’s Ban on Marriage” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Yoo Ji-Tae, Kwak Do-Won cast in TVING drama “Villains”

Yoo Ji-Tae, Kwak Do-Won, Lee Beom-Soo, & Lee Min-Jung are cast in TVING drama series “Villains.” The drama series is scripted by Kim Hyung-Jun (“No Mercy“) and directed by Jin Hyeok (“Sisyphus: The Myth“). “Villains” will show a battle over super-notes, which are extremely high quality counterfeit bills. Yoo Ji-Tae will play J, who is criminal mastermind. Kwak Do-Won will play Jang Joong-Hyeok. He is a corrupt detective. Lee Beom-Soo will play Cha Ki-Tae. He goes after J. Lee Min-Jung will play Han Soo-Hyun. She wants to take revenge on J.
