Kokoro Terada is cast for the lead role in movie “The Great Yokai War: Guardians” (literal title). The film is directed by Takashi Miike and scripted by Yusuke Watanabe. Takashi Miike previously directed 2005 yokai film “The Great Yokai War.” In this new film, Kokoro Terada will play Kei Watanabe. He is a young boy who has inherited powers to hunt yokai (supernatural monsters).
“The Great Yokai War: Guardians” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Main poster and release date added for movie “Town Without Sea” starring Yuki Kura, Roi Ishiuchi, and Nari Saito. The film marks the directorial debut by 24-year-old actress Elaiza Ikeda. “Town Without Sea” already had its world premiere at the 2020 Jeonju International Film Festival and is now set for release December 4, 2020 in Japan.
Teaser trailer and teaser poster added for movie “The End of the Tiny World” starring Takanori Iwata & Mackenyu Arata. Movie is based on 2013 novel “Na mo Naki Sekai no End Roll” by Kaoru Yukinari and directed by Yuichi Sato (“You, I Love“). The teaser begins with narration that states “Small and nameless. Irreplaceable, our world was going to collapse without a trace.” In addition, Kenjiro Ishimaru, Kohei Otomo and Akira Emoto have been announced as supporting cast members in the upcoming film.

Movie is based on manga series “10 Manbun no 1” by Kaho Miyasaka & directed by Koichiro Miki (“The Travelling Cat Chronicles“). The movie’s theme song has also been revealed, which is “Star Traveling” by Generations from Exile Tribe. Lead actor in the movie Alan Shirahama is a member of Generations from Exile Tribe. Ai Yoshikawa will play Uka Ishimori. She is a shy teen girl and falls for a guy with lemon colored hair played by Raul.
