Movie is based on novel “Mamorarenakatta Monotachi e” by Shichiri Nakayama and directed by Takahisa Zeze. Masaki Suda and Fukase (Sekai no Owari) are cast in movie “Character.” The film is scripted by Takashi Nagasaki and directed by Akira Nagai. Fukase from pop band “Sekai no Owari” will make his acting debut in the movie. Masaki Suda will play main character Keigo Yamashiro. He is a manga writer, but he’s stuck in the role of an assistant due to his inability to create evil characters. He then comes across a murder scene.

Gou Ayano is cast in live-action film “Homunculus.” The film is based on manga series “Homunculus” by Hideo Yamamoto (“Stop the Bitch Campaign“) and directed by Takashi Shimizu (“Ju-on“). The psychological thriller will have Gou Ayano playing homeless man Susumu Nokoshi. To make money, he undergoes trepanation, which is a medical procedure to drill a hole in the skull. It’s thought the procedure could better blood circulation and pressure inside the skull and also enhance someone’s sixth sense.
“Homunculus” will be released April 2, 2021 in Japan and the movie will also be released on Netflix at a later date.

Main trailer and poster added for live-action film “Liar x Liar” starring Hokuto Matsumura & Nana Mori. Movie is based on manga series “Liar x Liar” by Renjuro Kindaichi & directed by Saiji Yakumo. The movie’s theme song has also been revealed as “Boku ga Boku Janai Mitaid” by boy band SixTONES. That song is also played in the main trailer.

The film is based on autobiographical comic “Ano Koro: Danshi Kashimashi Monogatari ” by Mikito Tsurugi, who is the bassist for electronic-rock band Arakajime. The film centers around Masao Mikami played by Koji Yakusho. He is a former yakuza who is released from jail and must adjust to a world that he is not familiar with.

The film is based on 2016 tvN drama series “Signal” and a sequel to 2018 Fuji TV remake drama series “Signal.” Newly announced supporting cast members for the movie, who also appeared in the Fuji TV drama series, are Kazuki Kitamura, Michiko Kichise, Yuichi Kimura, Tetsuhiro Ikeda and Kaede Aono.
