Ryuto Sakuma (HiHi Jets) and Mizuki Yamashita are cast for lead roles in movie “My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999.” In addition, the first teaser trailer and teaser poster has also been released (the teaser trailer can be viewed at AsianWiki). The film is setup as a romantic-comedy between a university student (Mizuki Yamashita), who was recently dumped by her ex-boyfriend, and a high school student-professional gamer (Ryuto Sakuma).
“My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999” will be released March 28, 2025 in Japan.
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Akane Kinoshita (Mizuki Yamashita) is a university student, who was recently dumped by her ex-boyfriend. She is still heart broken by the rejection. She meets high school student & professional gamer Akito Yamada (Ryuto Sakuma) through an online game. At first, she thinks he is blunt and cold to people, but he sometimes shows his gentler side with her, like putting a band-aid on her wound or carrying her on his back when she gets drunk. Due to this, she gradually becomes attracted to him … but Akito Yamada has zero interest in romance.
