Main trailer and poster for movie “My Name is Yours”

Main trailer and poster added for coming-of-age film “My Name is Yours” starring Honoka Matsumoto, Seina Nakata, and Yuki Katayama. The film is based on two novels (“En” & “Blue Hearts wo Kiita Yoru, Kimi to Kiss Shite Sayonara”) by director Momoko Fukuda and also directed by her. Momoko Fukuda previously directed 2019 movie “My Father, the Bride.” Caption on the poster states in Japanese “Hope and despair, 3 seconds before explosion.”

“My Name is Yours” is now set for release July 31, 2020 in Japan.

Takanori Iwata & Mackenyu Arata cast in movie “End roll of the world Nameless”

Takanori Iwata (“J Soul Brothers”/”EXILE”) and Mackenyu Arata are cast in movie “End roll of the world Nameless” (literal title). The film is based on 2013 novel “Na mo Naki Sekai no End Roll” by Kaoru Yukinari and directed by Yuichi Sato. Filming for the movie took place from July, 2019 to August, 2019.

“End roll of the world Nameless” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Kida (Takanori Iwata) and Makoto (Mackenyu Arata) have been friends since they were children. They also both don’t have parents. The two become friends with transfer student Yocchi, who also doesn’t have parents. They spend time together everyday and grow up together. A case takes place when they are 20 years old and it affects their lives tremendously. Years later, Kida works as a negotiator in the criminal world. Makoto works as a trading company CEO in the criminal world. They spent 10 years to take revenge on a world which changed their fate.

Mugi Kadowaki and Kiko Mizuhara are cast in movie “Tokyo Noble Girl.” The film is based on 2016 novel  “Ano Ko wa Kizoku” by Mariko Yamauchi (“Japanese Girls Never Die“) and directed by Yukiko Sode (“Good Stripes“). The film revolves around two women who live completely different lives and their self-reliance.
