Takumi Saito & Shuri are cast for lead roles in live-action film “Reiraku.” The movie is based on manga series “Reiraku” by Inio Asano (“Solanin“) and directed by veteran actor Naoto Takenaka. Actress Megumi is also cast in a supporting role. The film follows the relationship between a manga artist (Takumi Saito) and a prostitute (Shuri).
“Reiraku” will be released March 17, 2023 in Japan.

Mizuki Inoue (HiHi Jets) and Rinka Kumada are cast in live-action film “Otona-Najimi.” The film is based on manga series “Otona Najimi” by Aya Nakahara (“Love Complex“) and directed by Hiroto Takahashi (“Heart Beats“). For “Otona-Najimi,” Mizuki Inoue & Rinka Kumada will play two young adults who have been friends and neighbors for most of their lives. The girl has liked the boy for most of that time, but he seems unaware of her feelings.
“Otona Najimi” will be released May 12, 2023 in Japan.

Trailer added for movie “We Make Antiques! Osaka Dreams” starring Kiichi Nakai & Kuranosuke Sasaki. Movie is a sequel to 2018 film “We Make Antiques!” and 2020 film “We Make Antiques! Kyoto Rendezvous.” The movie’s theme song has also been revealed as “Yume no Mata Yume” by actor Kenta Kiritani.

Koichi Sato and Ryusei Yokohama are cast in boxing film “Haru ni Chiru.” The movie is based on 2017 novel “Haru ni Chiru” by Kotaro Sawaki and directed by Takahisa Zeze (“64“). The film will have Koichi Sato play former boxer Jinichi Hirooka. He begins to coach a young boxer played by Ryusei Yokohama, whom he meets in a bar and knocks him down first.

The film follows a mother and teenage daughter. The mother finds a note hinting that her daughter might breast cancer. Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been announced as “Soredemo Ashita wa” by Hana Hope. That track is played during the trailer.

Shihori Kanjiya and Masato Wada are cast in movie “Orange Lamp.” The movie is based on the true story of Tomofumi Tanno. In 2013, Tomofumi Tanno was diagnosed with early-onset dementia at the age of 39. Movie will be directed by Mitsuhiro Mihara (“Flavor of Happiness“). For “Orange Lamp,” Masato Wada will play Koichi Tadano. He receives the devastating news that he has early-onset dementia. Shihori Kanjiya will play Mao Tadano. She is married to Koichi Tadano.
