Suzu Hirose, Ryo Yoshizawa and Shinichi Tsutsumi are cast in movie “Ichido Shinde Mita”

Suzu Hirose, Ryo Yoshizawa and Shinichi Tsutsumi are cast in movie “Ichido Shinde Mita.” In the film, Suzu Hirose will play main character Nanase Nobata. Her father Kei Nobata (Shinichi Tsutsumi) is the CEO of a pharmaceutical company. He takes a drug which makes him deceased, but come back to life two days later. Something goes wrong though and Nanase Nobata tries to bring her father back to life.

Filming for “Ichido Shinde Mita” will take place from September, 2018 and finish early October, 2018. “Ichido Shinde Mita” will be released sometime in 2020.

Main trailer for movie “The Antique”

Main trailer for movie “The Antique” starring Haru Kuroki and Shuhei Nomura. Meanwhile, movie’s theme song has been selected which is “Kita-Kamakura no Omoide” by rock band Southern All Stars. The theme song appears in the trailer. Movie follows 2013 Fuji TV drama series “Antiquarian Bookshop Biblia’s Case Files” and is based on novels “Biblia Koshodo no Jiken Techou” by En Mikami. Yukiko Mishima directs the film.

“The Antique” will be released November 1, 2018 in Japan.

Mone Kamishiraishi, Yosuke Sugino and Ryusei Yokohama cast in live-action film “L-DK Hitotsu Yane no Shita, (Suki) ga Futatsu”

Mone Kamishiraishi, Yosuke Sugino and Ryusei Yokohama are cast in sequel live-action film “L-DK Hitotsu Yane no Shita, (Suki) ga Futatsu.” Movie follows 2014 live-action film “L-DK” and is based on manga “L•DK” by Ayu Watanabe. Setup for the sequel has Aoi Nishimori (Mone Kamishiraishi) and Shusei Kugayama (Yosuke Sugino) living together, but Shusei’s cousin Reon (Ryusei Yokohama) begins to live with them. Yasuhiro Kawamura returns to direct the sequel film.

“L-DK Hitotsu Yane no Shita, (Suki) ga Futatsu” will be released March 21, 2019 in Japan.

Trailer for movie “Smartphone o Otoshita dake nanoni”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Smartphone o Otoshita dake nanoni” starring Keiko Kitagawa and Yudai Chiba. Movie is based on novel “Sumaho o Otoshita dake ” by Akira Shiga and directed by Hideo Nakata. Meanwhile, the trailer reveals the movie’s theme song which is “Himitsu” by rock band Polkadot Stingray. The trailer starts with captions in Japanese that states “The existence which knows everything about you is the smartphone.” Movie tells the story of a woman who loses her smartphone.

“Smartphone o Otoshita dake nanoni” opens November 2, 2018 in Japan.

Teaser poster for live-action film “We Hope for Blooming” starring Tao Tsuchiya & Takumi Kitamura. Movie is based on manga “Harumatsu Bokura” by Anashin and directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa. On the teaser poster, caption on the right side of the poster states in Japanese “I thought there was nothing that was important.” In addition, the first 3 still images below are new still images featuring supporting actresses Rika Izumi, Yuki Saso and Tamaki Ogawa.

“We Hope for Blooming” will be released December 14, 2018 in Japan.

Yutaro Furutachi & Shizuka Ishibashi cast in movie “Ichigo no Uta”

Yutaro Furutachi & Shizuka Ishibashi are cast in movie “Ichigo no Uta.” The film is based on 2018 novel “Ichigo no Uta” by screenwriter Yoshikazu Okada and musician-actor Kazunobu Mineta from rock band GING NANG BOYZ. The novel itself is based on seven songs from GING NANG BOYZ which are”Hyoryu Kyoshitsu,” “Tokyo,” “Aishiterutte Yutteyone,” “Poadamu,” “Ginga Tetsudo no Yoru,” “Moshimo Kimi ga Naku Nara ba” and “Koi wa Eien.” Movie is directed by Shintaro Sugawara. The film revolves around a childhood friend who reappears 10 years after his death in a car accident.

“Ichigo no Uta” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Main trailer for movie “Million Dollar Man” starring Takeru Satoh and Issey Takahashi. The movie’s theme song has been selected which is “Hanashi ga Shitaiyo” by rock band Bump of Chicken. The theme song is played in the main trailer. Movie “Million Dollar Man” is based on 2014 novel “Oku Otoko” by movie producer Genki Kawamura and directed by Keishi Ohtomo. The film follows a man (Takeru Satoh) who wins the lottery, but is then swindled out of the money by a friend (Issey Takahashi). Still images for the movie can be found below.

“Million Dollar Man” will be released October 19, 2018 in Japan.
