The has unusual prmemise of Fumi Nikaido playing a teen boy who looks like a girl and Gackt playing a high school student. It’s set in a world where people from Saitama are persecuted.
“Tonde Saitama” will be released February 22, 2018 in Japan.
Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Futatsu no Kino to Boku no Mirai” starring Gaku Sano and Itsuki Sagara. Movie is directed by Kenichi Ohmori. The film follows a young man who enters a cave during a rainstorm and finds himself in an parallel world when he exits.
“Futatsu no Kino to Boku no Mirai” will be released first in Niihama, Ehime Prefecture, Japan on November 9, 2018 and will have its nationwide release sometime after that.

Trailer and poster added for movie “A Cherry Boy’s Love” (“Sakuranbo no Koi”) starring Daisuke Miyagawa and Yuki Sakurai. The film had its world premiere on April 21, 2018 at the 10th Okinawa International Movie Festival. Story for “A Cherry Boy’s Love,” follows the relationship between a 45-year-old virgin man and an adult film actress. The trailer also reveals the movie’s theme song which is “Baby Good Sleep” by Japanese rock duo Sukima Switch.

The film also features Kou Shibasaki, Tasuku Emoto, Yuko Tanaka and Kaoru Kobayashi in supporting character roles. Movie is based on manga series Neko to Jiichan” by Nekomaki. The film follows a 70-year-old man played by Shinosuke Tatekawa who lives with his cat Tama on a small island.

Kiichi Nakai is cast in comedy film “Kioku ni Gozaimasen.” The film is written and directed by Koki Mitani. Also cast in supporting roles are Dean Fujioka, Yuriko Ishida, Masao Kusakari and Koichi Sato. In typical Koki Mitani fashion, the film stars Kiichi Nakai as the prime minister of Japan … but he has lost his memory after someone threw a rock at him. Filming for “Kioku ni Gozaimasen” began July 10, 2018 and finishes late August, 2018 in the suburbs of Tokyo.
“Kioku ni Gozaimasen” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
