Teaser trailer and poster for OCN-TVING drama “Recipient”

Teaser trailer and poster added for OCN-TVING drama special “Recipient” starring Kang Shin and Jo Joon-Young. The drama special is part of the O’PENing series of specials that airs on sister network tvN and will air on OCN for this episode. The teaser trailer begins with Kang Shin as Sung Seo-Yeon stating “5 billion won” (approximately $3.7 million USD). Around the 11 second mark Jo Joon-Young asks “What is your plan for the future?” and Kang Shin responds “My plan is to never get caught.”

“Recipient” consists of 2 episodes and will air from October 13 – 20, 2024.

Ko Soo, Heo Jun-Ho, Ahn So-Hee, & Ha-Joon cast in OCN drama “Missing: The Other Side 2”

Ko Soo, Heo Jun-Ho, Ahn So-Hee, and Ha-Joon are set to return in OCN sequel drama series “Missing: The Other Side 2.” The drama series is a sequel to 2020 OCN drama series “Missing: The Other Side.” Also cast to play new characters in the sequel drama series are Lee Jung-Eun and Kim Dong-Hwi. Lee Jung-Eun and Kim Dong-Hwi will play deceased people who live in the village 3 Gongdan. Lee Jung-Eun’s character was a ship captain for 30 years before she died. Kim Dong-Hwi’s character tries to find the reason of his death and the whereabouts of his body.

“Missing: The Other Side 2” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Highlight trailer for OCN drama “A Superior Day”

Highlight trailer added for OCN drama series “A Superior Day” starring Jin Goo, Ha Do-Kwon, & Lee Won-Geun. The drama series follows a man named Lee Ho-Cheol (Jin Goo) who receives an order to kill his serial killer neighbor Kwon Shi-Woo (Lee Won-Geun) within 24 hours or his daughter dies. Captions in the highlight trailer states (0:41) “A man witnessed a murder,” (1:10) “Daughter was kidnapped,” (1:33) “Within 24 hours,” (1:43) “He has to remember the murderer’s face,” (2:47) “To catch a monster,” (2:52) “He has to become a monster.”

“A Superior Day” first airs March 13, 2022 in South Korea. The drama series will air one episode per week on Sundays at 10:30 PM.

The teaser trailer has dialogue that goes (0:08) Ha Do-Kwon “Exactly 24 hours. If you can’t find the murderer within that time, your daughter will die” and (0:18) Jin Goo “How can I find someone that I don’t even know what they look like?”

TaecYeon cast in OCN drama “Blind”

TaecYeon is cast in new OCN drama series “Blind.” For the lead female role, singer-actress Jung Eun-Ji from idol group “Apink” has been offered the role and she is currently considering the offer. In “Blind,” TaecYeon will play Ryu Sung-Joon. He works as a detective.

“Blind” will air sometime during the second half of this yearin South Korea.

Script reading for OCN drama “Superior Day”

The first script reading for OCN drama series “Superior Day” (literal title), starring Jin Goo, Ha Do-Kwon, & Lee Won-Geun, took place back on November, 2021. Above and below are photos of the three leads at the first script reading. Filming for the drama series also began November, 2021.

Ep.1 of “Superior Day” is also now scheduled to first air March, 2022. The drama series is based on webcomic “Uwolhan Halu” by Team Getname and revolves around Lee Ho-Cheol (Jin Goo), who lives next door to serial killer Kwon Shi-Woo (Lee Won-Geun). Lee Ho-Cheol is given 24 hours to kill the serial killer to save his kidnapped daughter.

Jin Goo, Ha Do-Kwon, and Lee Won-Geun are cast in OCN drama series “Superior Day” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Uwolhan Halu” by Team Getname. Jin Goo will play lead character Lee Ho-Cheol. His daughter is kidnapped and he receives a text message to kill someone that lives next door to him. Ha Do-Kwon will play Bae Tae-Jin. He is a hired killer and his target is a serial killer. Lee Won-Geun will play Kwon Shi-Woo. He is the person that lives next door and he is a serial killer.

“Superior Day” will first air sometime in the first half of 2022 in South Korea.

Lee Da-Hee, Cha Eun-Woo, & Sung Joon cast in OCN drama “Island”

Lee Da-Hee, Cha Eun-Woo, & Sung Joon are cast in OCN drama series “Island” co-starring Kim Nam-Gil. For Lee Da-Hee, she will play lead female character Won Mi-Ho. Cha Eun-Woo will play Catholic Priest John and Sung Joon will play Gungtan. The drama series is set on Jeju Island and follows three people as they fight against evil.

Filming for “Island” will begin October, 2021 and the drama series will air sometime in the first half of 2022.
