Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Jin Kang-Ho (Cha Tae-Hyun) is an enthusiastic and effective detective. He tries to catch criminals by any means necessary. He also doesn’t get along with other detectives. Kang Moo-Young (Lee Sun-Bin) is an enthusiastic PD of a TV investigative program. The program tries to catch criminals that the police could not. Kang Moo-Young is upright, but she will take risks to reveal the truth. Jin Kang-Ho and Kang Moo-Young unexpectedly meet and they begin to cooperate on unsolved cases.

Two new teaser trailers added for OCN drama series “Rugal” starring Choi Jin-Hyuk and Park Sung-Woong. Teaser trailer #2 features Choi Jin-Hyuk as Kang Ki-Beom. Choi Jin-Hyuk’s voice appears and he states “Bad Guy? Whenever I see them, I catch them.” Teaser trailer #3 features Park Sung-Woong as Hwang Deuk-Koo. He narrates with “You can not do anything with just anger.”

Here’s three teaser posters for OCN drama series “Rugal” starring Choi Jin-Hyuk and Park Sung-Woong. He asks in the teaser trailer “Why are you here?” Captions in Korean then introduces the 5 main actors: stubborn detective Cha Tae-Hyun, enthusiastic PD Lee Sun-Bin, funeral director Jung Sang-Hoon, cocktail bar owner Yoon Kyung-Ho, and profiler private detective Ji Seung-Hyun. Jang Dong-Yoon & Krystal cast in OCN drama series “Search”

Jang Dong-Yoon & Krystal are cast in OCN drama series “Search.” The two leads will play members of a military search team who get caught in the DMZ and fight against a mysterious creature. Jang Dong-Yoon most recently starred in 2019 KBS2 drama series “The Tale of Nokdu,” while Krystal from ‘f(x)’ starred in 2018 OCN drama series “The Player.”

Plot synopsis by AsianWiki: Military search troop members, including Koo Dong-Jin (Jang Dong-Yoon) and Son Ye-Rim (Krystal) try to fight against a mysterious creature and struggle to get away from the DMZ. They build camaraderie through their struggle.

Koo Dong-Jin is a sergeant with only a little time left in the army. Son Ye-Rim is an elite officer and she has a secret about her birth.

“Search” will first air May, 2020 in South Korea.

First script reading for OCN drama series “Rugal”

First script reading for upcoming OCN drama series “Rugal” took place October, 2019 at Donga Digital Media Center in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members that attended included Choi Jin-Hyuk, Park Sung-Woong, Jo Dong-Hyuk, Jung Hye-In, Han Ji-Wan, Kim Min-Sang, Park Sun-Ho, Kim Da-Hyun, Park Jung-Hak, and Park Choong-Sun all attended. The drama series is based on webcomic “Rugal” by Rilmae. Choi Jin-Hyuk plays main character Kang Ki-Beom. He loses his wife and his eyes due to criminal organization Argos. He joins Rugal to get revenge.

“Rugal” will first air March, 2020.
