Ryohei Suzuki, Misato Morita, and Fumino Kimura are cast in Netflix distributed movie “City Hunter 2.” Movie is a sequel to 2024 Netflix distributed movie “City Hunter” and based on manga series “City Hunter” by Tsukasa Hojo. Ryohei Suzuki, Misato Morita, and Fumino Kimura will reprise their roles of Ryo Saeba, Kaori Makimura, and Saeko Nogami in the sequel film.
“City Hunter 2” is targeted for release sometime next year.
Fumino Kimura and Raul are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Ai no, Gakko.” Drama series features an original screenplay by Yumiko Inoue and directed by Hiroshi Nishitani. Screenwriter Yumiko Inoue and Director Hiroshi Nishitani has previously worked together in 2019 Fuji TV drama series “Sherlock: Untold Stories,” 2014 Fuji TV drama series “Hirugao: Love Affairs in the Afternoon,” 2005 Fuji TV drama series “Engine,” 2003 Fuji TV drama series “The Great White Tower,” and 2017 movie “Hirugao: Love Affairs in the Afternoon.” In “Ai no, Gakko,” Fumino Kimura will play high school teacher Manami Ogawa and Raul will play host bar worker Kawol. They meet through circumstances and develop a romantic relationship. For actor Raul, this will mark his first time starring in a prime time drama series and a Fuji TV drama series.
“Ai no, Gakko” will first air July, 2025 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Thursday 10PM time slot after “A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You“).

Nao Matsushita, Fumino Kimura, Manami Higa, Maryjun Takahashi, and Koyuki are cast in TV Asahi drama series “SKY Castle.” The drama series is a remake of 2018 JTBC drma series “SKY Castle.” The screenplay adaptation for the remake is written by Hiroshi Hashimoto (“A Family Goes Job Hunting“) and will be directed by Naomi Tamura, Yuji Nakamae, and Kazunari Hoshino. Nao Matsushita, Fumino Kimura, Manami Higa, Maryjun Takahashi will play mothers who live with within the exclusive SKY CASTLE neighborhood and compete to get their children into the top school. Koyuki will play Ayaka Kujo. She is a private instructor who charges an outrageous rate, but has a 100% success rate.

Fumino Kimura is cast for the lead role in TV Asahi drama series “Seven Secretaries” (literal title of “Shichinin no Hisho”). Also cast for supporting roles are Alice Hirose, Nanao, Shim Eun-Kyung, Yuko Oshima, Shigeru Muroi and Yosuke Eguchi.
For the drama series, Fumino Kimura will play Chiyo Mochizuki. She currently works as a director’s secretary at Toto bank. Chiyo Mochizuki is part of a shadow corps consisting of seven people who works or have worked as secretaries.
