Here’s three posters for upcoming SBS drama series “Switch: Change the World” starring Jang Keun-Suk and Han Ye-Ri. “Switch” first airs March 28, 2018 in South Korea.
Kana Kurashina is cast for the lead role in upcoming movie “Ai Ai Gasa.” Also cast in major supporting character roles are Hayato Ichihara, Danshun Tatekawa, Tomoyo Harada and Anna Iriyama (‘AKB48’). The film follows Satsuki Takashima (Kana Kurashina) as she attempts to reconnect with her father (Danshun Tatekawa) who went missing 25 years ago. She finds him in a small village, living with a new family. Movie is based on the stage play“Ai Ai Gasa” which was written and directed by Takayuki Takuma. Takayuki Takuma also writes and directs the upcoming film.
“Ai Ai Gasa” will be released October, 2018 in Japan.
Chang Ki-Yong and Jin Ki-Joo are cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Come Here and Give Me A Hug” (literal title). Veteran actor Heo Jun-Ho is also cast for a major supporting role. The drama series will follow a young detective (Chang Ki-Yong) and a popular actress (Jin Ki-Joo). They are both tied to a murder case that took place in their past. Heo Jun-Ho plays a serial killer.
“Come Here and Give Me A Hug” first airs May 16, 2018 in South Korea.
Jiro Sato, Mai Shiraishi (‘Nogizaka46’) and Takayuki Yamada are cast in TBS-MBS live-action drama series “Yareta Kamo Iinkai.” The drama series is based on manga “Yareta kamo Iinkai” by Takashi Yoshida and will be directed by Masatoshi Yamaguchi (“Ushijima the Loan Shark“). In the drama series, Jiro Sato, Mai Shiraishi and Takayuki Yamada will play members of the “Yareta Kamo Iinkai” (literally “Could Have Done It Committe”). They listen to stories from visitors and give their opinion on whether that person could have done something or not.
“Yareta Kamo Iinkai” first airs April 22nd on MBS and April 24th on TBS.
Here’s a special poster for upcoming JTBC drama series “Something in the Rain” (English title) starring Son Ye-Jin and Jung Hae-In. Korean title for the drama series is “Bab Jal Sajooneun Yebbeun Noona” which means literally “Pretty Sister Who Buys Me Food.”

Park Sung-Woong and Ko Ah-Sung are cast in OCN drama series “Life on Mars” co-starring Jung Kyoung-Ho. The drama series is a remake of UK television series “Life on Mars.” For the drama series, Park Sung-Woong will play Kang Dong-Cheol in the year 1988. He is a veteran detective and relies on his instincts during investigations. Ko Ah-Sung will play Yoon Na-Young in the year 1988. She is introduced to profiling through Han Tae-Joo (Jung Kyoung-Ho) who has traveled through time from the present days.
“Life on Mars” will first air June, 2018 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 10:20 PM time slot after “Mistress“).
Do Kyung-Soo (‘EXO’) and Nam Ji-Hyun are now cast in upcoming tvN period drama series “Hundred Days’ Husband” (literal title). Do Kyung-Soo will play Crown Prince Lee Yool. The Crown Prince suddenly goes missing. Nam Ji-Hyun will play Hong-Sim. She runs the first private detective agency in Joseon.
In addition, Cho Seong-Ha and Kim Sun-Ho are cast for the supporting roles. Cho Seong-Ha will play Kim Cha-Eon. He is actually the most powerful man in Joseon. The first script reading for the drama series took place March 21, 2018 and filming will begin April, 2018. The drama series will air as a 100% pre-production and will premiere sometime in the latter part of this year.

First script reading for KBS2 drama series “Suits,” starring Jang Dong-Gun and Park Hyung-Sik, took place February 12, 2018. Drama series is a remake of U.S. television series “Suits.” The first script reading included main cast members Jang Dong-Gun, Park Hyung-Sik, Chae Jung-An, Ko Sung-Hee, Hwang Tae-Gwang, Jin Hee-Kyung and Choi Gwi-Hwa. The first script reading took about 4 hours to complate.
“Suits” first airs April 25, 2018 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Wednesday and Thursday 10 PM time slot after “Queen of Mystery 2“).
Haruma Miura, Lily Franky, Hirofumi Arai and Yuma Yamoto are cast in supporting roles for movie “Sunny: Tsuyoi Kimochi Tsuyoi Ai.” The film is a remake of 2011 South Korean film “Sunny.” For the film, Haruma Miura will play Wataru Fujii. He is a university student and the first love of Nami. Lily Franky will play Private Detective Nakagawa. Nami in the present day hires Private Detective Nakagawa to find the members of the Sunny club.
“Sunny: Tsuyoi Kimochi Tsuyoi Ai” will be released August 31, 2018 in Japan.
