Taishi Nakagawa is cast for the lead role in live-action film “Are You Ready? Hey You Girl!” The film is based on manga series “Kakugo wa Iika Soko no Joshi” by Nana Shiiba and directed by Noboru Iguchi. In the film Taishi Nakagawa will play high school student Towa Furuya. He is a good looking guy, but has never had a girlfriend. He pursues a girl who is popular with guys, but has turned them all down.
“Are You Ready? Hey You Girl!” will be released October 12, 2018 in Japan.

First script reading for tvN drama series “Why Secretary Kim” took place April 10, 2018 at Studio Dragon in Sangamdong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Park Seo-Joon, Park Min-Young, Lee Tae-Hwan, Kang Ki-Young, Chansung (‘2PM’) and Pyo Ye-Jin all attended. In the drama series, Park Seo-Joon plays Lee Young-Joon. He is a self-absorbed Vice President of a company. His secretary, played by Park Min-Young, suddenly hands in her resignation.

Hiroki Hasegawa is cast in NHK drama series “Kirin ga Kuru.” The drama series is NHK’s 59th taiga series and will air from January, 2020. In the drama series Hiroki Hasegawa will play historical character Mitsuhide Akechi. Mitsuhide Akechi was a general during the Sengoku period and famously led a rebellion against Oda Nobunaga in 1582. Taku Ohara will direct the drama series and the drama series will be scripted by Shunsaku Ikehata.

Nana Seino is cast for the lead female role and Kanna Hashimoto is cast for a major supporting character role in NTV live-action drama series “Kyo kara Ore wa” starring Kento Kaku. For the drama series Nana Seino will play Riko Akasaka. She falls in love with Takashi Mitsuhashi (Kento Kaku). Kanna Hashimoto will play Kyoko Hayakawa. She is the leader of a group of troubled female students. “Kyo kara Ore wa” is based on the manga of same name by Hiroyuki Nishimori.

Park Bo-Gum and Bae Suzy have been offered lead roles in new SBS drama series “Incheon Airport People” (literal title). Currently, both performers are considering their offers. The drama series will revolve around people who work at Incheon International Airport. “Incheon Airport People” will be directed by Shin Woo-Cheol and scripted by Kang Eun-Kyung. Director Shin Woo-Cheol and screenwriter Kang Eun-Kyung previously worked with Bae Suzy in 2012 MBC drama series “Gu Family Book.”
“Incheon Airport People” is tentatively scheduled to air from September, 2018 in South Korea.
Trailer for live-action film “Shino Can’t Say Her Own Name” starring Sara Minami and Aju Makita. Movie is based on manga series “Shino-chan wa Jibun no Namae ga Ienai” by Shuzo Oshimi and directed by Hiroaki Yuasa. The film revolves around two teenage outcast girls as they bond over playing music together.
“Shino Can’t Say Her Own Name” will be released July 14, 2018.
