Ra Mi-Ran and Lee Sung-Kyung are cast for lead roles in new movie “Girl Cops” (working title). The film will be directed by Jung Da-Won (“Garak Market Revolution“). In the film, Ra Mi-Ran will play a veteran detective and Lee Sung-Kyung will play a rookie detective who chase after a criminal case.
Filming for “Girl Cops” will begin July, 2018 in South Korea.
Teaser trailer #2 and teaser poster added for upcoming live-action film “3D Kanojo: Real Girl” starring Ayami Nakajo and Hayato Sano. Movie is based on manga series “3D Kanojo Riaru Garu” by Mao Nanami and directed by Tsutomu Hanabusa.
“3D Kanojo: Real Girl” will be released September 14, 2018 in Japan.
Park Shin-Hye is now cast for the lead female role in upcoming tvN drama series “Memories of the Alhambra” co-starring Hyun-Bin. For the drama series, Park Shin-Hye will play Jung Hee-Joo. She went to Spain, dreaming of becoming the top classical guitarist. After her parents’ deaths, she needed to make money. She began running an old hostel in Granada, Spain.
Filming for the drama series begins May, 2018 and shooting will take place in Spain.
Main poster and main trailer added for upcoming movie “Burning” starring Yoo Ah-In, Steven Yeun and Jeon Song-Seo. Movie “Burning” is directed by Lee Chang-Dong and will have its world premiere in the competition section at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Korean caption on the poster states “Now tell the truth.”
“Burning” will be released May 17, 2018 in South Korea.
Kento Nakajima (‘Sexy Zone’) and Ayami Nakajo are cast in live-action film “Nisekoi.” The film is based on manga “Nisekoi” by Naoshi Komi and directed by Hayato Kawai. The movie will have Kento Nakajima and Ayami Nakajo playing the only children of rival gang leaders. They must pretend to be boyfriend and girlfriend to keep peace between the rival gangs.
“Nisekoi” will be released December 21, 2018 in Japan.
Here’s still images of Park Hae-Jin and Nana (‘After School’) in upcoming drama series “Four Men.” The still images are from a scene filmed along a field of canola flowers in Hajungdo, which is in the the Noko neighborhood area of Daegu, South Korea. Although the exact airing network for “Four Men,” has yet to be decided, MBC has been in discussions to air the drama series.
Yo Oizumi, Mitsuki Takahata & Haruma Miura are cast in based-on-a-true-story film “Konna Yofuke ni Banana kayo: Kanashiki Jitsuwa.” The film deals with a love triangle between a medical student (Haruma Miura), his girlfriend medical student (Mitsuki Takahata) and a hospital patient (Yo Oizumi) with muscular dystrophy who likes the female medical student. Movie is based on non-fiction novel “Konna Yofuke ni Banana kayo” by Kazufumi Watanabe and directed by Tetsu Maeda.
“Konna Yofuke ni Banana kayo: Kanashiki Jitsuwa” will be released winter, 2018 in Japan.
First teaser trailer for upcoming OCN drama series “Life on Mars” starring Jung Kyoung-Ho, Park Sung-Woong and Ko Ah-Sung. The first teaser trailer features Park Sung-Woong and his partner Noh Jong-Hyun chasing after a criminal in his boxers. Narration in the teaser trailer states “1980’s, the guys exiting a retro investigation record.” Drama series is a remake of UK television series “Life on Mars.”

Daniel Choi has been offered the lead role in new KBS2 drama series “Today’s Private Investigator” (literal title). Currently, Daniel Choi is positively considering the offer. If he accepts, Daniel Choi will play the role of private investigator Lee Da-Il.
“Today’s Private Investigator” will first air August, 2018 (takes over KBS’2 Wednesday and Thursday 10PM time slot after “Your House Helper.”).
