First script reading for OCN drama series “Life on Mars”

First script reading for OCN drama series “Life on Mars” took place March 12, 2018 at Studio Dragon in Sangam-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Main cast members including Jung Kyoung-HoPark Sung-WoongKo Ah-SungOh Dae-HwanNoh Jong-Hyun, Kim Jae-Kyung (ex-‘RAINBOW’ member), Kim Ki-Cheon and Kim Young-Pil  all attended. Park Sung-Woong gained 10 kilograms to play his character of Kang Dong-Cheol. The drama series follows a detective (Jung Kyoung-Ho) as he investigates a serial murder case. The detective finds himself transported back in time to 1988.

 

“Life on Mars” first airs June, 2018 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer for live-action film “Sensei Kunshu”

Teaser trailer added for live-action film “Sensei Kunshu” starring Ryoma Takeuchi and Minami Hamabe. Movie is based on manga series “Sensei Kunshu” by Momoko Koda and directed by Sho Tsukikawa (“Let Me Eat Your Pancreas“). Story for the film revolves around a high school student (Minami Hamabe) and a young man (Ryoma Takeuchi) who turns out to be her substitute teacher.

“Sensei Kunshu” will be released August 1, 2018 in Japan.

First teaser trailer added for upcoming MBC drama series “Come Here and Give Me A Hug” starring Chang Ki-Yong and Jin Ki-Joo.

Meanwhile, above are still images Jin Ki-Joo in the drama series. She plays Han Jae-Yi. She is now an actress, but she went through a horrific nightmare as a teenager.

Still images below is of Chang Ki-Yong. He plays Deective Chae Do-Jin. His father is a murderer and he tries to atone for his father’s ways.

First script reading for SBS drama series “Handsome Guy and Jung-Eum”

First script reading for SBS drama series “Handsome Guy and Jung-Eum,” starring Namgung Min and Hwang Jung-Eum, took place April 2, 2018 at at SBS Ilsan Production Center in Tanhyun, South Korea. Main cast members including Namgung Min, Hwang Jung-Eum, Choi Tae-JoonOh Yoon-Ah, Nam Kyoung-Eub and Jo Dal-Hwan all attended. After the first script reading, Namgung Min stated “I will work very hard and I will also do my best to have good results.” Hwang Jung-Eum followed up with “I am merry and happy, like going on a picnic. To get other people to feel that way, I will work hard.”

“Handsome Guy and Jung-Eum” will first air May, 2018 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer for JTBC drama series “Ms. Hammurabi”

First teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “Ms. Hammurabi” starring Go Ara and L. The 30 second teaser trailer features actual footage from the drama series for the first time. Meanwhile, here’s the first still images of L in the drama series. In the drama series, L plays Im Ba-Reun. He is a young judge who values principles above all else.

“Ms. Hammurabi” first airs May 21, 2018 in South Korea.

Kim Jae-Wook offered lead role in OCN drama series “Hand”

Kim Jae-Wook has been offered a lead role in new OCN drama series “Hand” (literal title). If Kim Jae-Wook accepts, he will play a Catholic priest who is one of the three main characters. Kim Jae-Wook has also worked with “Hand” director Kim Hong-Sun previously in 2017 OCN drama series “Voice.”

“Hand” is currently scheduled to air sometime in the second half of this year, possibly taking over for “Voice 2.”

The still images are from Park Seo-Joon’s first day of filming for the drama series. In the drama series, Park Seo-Joon plays Lee Young-Joon. He holds the Vice President position at a company. Although, he is handsome, smart and wealthy, he is also arrogant and narcissistic.
