Teaser trailer for Netflix drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines”

Teaser trailer added for Netflix drama series “When Life Gives You Tangerines” starring IU and Park Bo-Gum. Drama series depicts the adventures of two people on the island of Jeju, with IU playing Ae-Sun and Park Bo-Gum playing Gwan Sik. Format for the drama series is a little unusual for a Netflix produced drama series in that it will consist of 16 episodes and 4 episodes will be released on Fridays from March 7th to March 28th, 2025.

Teaser trailer for JTBC drama “Heavenly Ever After”

First teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “Heavenly Ever After” starring Kim Hye-Ja and Son Suk-Ku. The drama series reunites Kim Hye-Ja (“The Light in Your Eyes“), Son Suk-Ku (“My Liberation Notes“) and Han Ji-Min (“The Light in Your Eyes“/”Behind Your Touch“) with Director Kim Suk-Yoon and Screenwriter Lee Nam-Kyu who worked together on “The Light in Your Eyes,” “My Liberation Notes,” and “Behind Your Touch.” Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer begins with Kim Hye-Ja stating “Is there really such a thing as Heaven?” Caption at the 30 second mark of the teaser states “Our train has now arrived at Heaven Station.”

“Heavenly Ever After” will first air April, 2025 (takes over JTBC’s Saturday & Sunday 10:30 PM time slot after “The Art of Negotiation“).

Teaser poster and release date set for mystery-comedy film “The Noisy Mansion” starring Kyung Soo-Jin, Ko Kyu-Pil, Lee Ji-Hoon, Kim Joo-Ryung. The film revolves around tenants at Baekse Apartment trying to find the source of noise that appears around 4AM. Kyung Soo-Jin plays lead character Geo-Wool, who moves into Baekse Apartment and hears the noise from her first night there.

“The Noisy Mansion” is now set for release February 26, 2025.

Main cast set to return for SBS drama “Taxi Driver 3”

Main cast set to return in SBS drama series “Taxi Driver 3.” The announced cast members are Lee Je-Hoon, Kim Eui-Sung, Pyo Ye-Jin, Jang Hyuk-Jin, and Bae Yoo-Ram. They make up members of a special revenge service offered by Rainbow Taxi and led by Kim Do-Ki (Lee Je-Hoon). All five actors appeared in the original 2021 SBS drama series “Taxi Driver” and the sequel 2023 SBS drama series “Taxi Driver 2.”

“Taxi Driver 3” will air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Main trailer & poster for movie “As for Me”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “As for Me” starring Ai Hashimoto and Taishi Nakagawa. Movie is based on 2012 novel “Wasejo, Onna, Otoko” by Asako Yuzuki (“The Many Faces of Ito“) and directed by Hitoshi Yazaki (“Strawberry Shortcakes“). Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been announced as “Our Last Step” by Ikkyu Nakajima from rock band “tricot.” The theme song is also featured in the main trailer. Caption on the main poster states “This man is a fool, but I am even more of a fool who has loved him all the way.”

“As for Me” will be released March 14, 2025 in Japan.

Seo Hyun-Jin cast in drama “Love Me”

Actress Seo Hyun-Jin is cast in drama series “Love Me.” The drama series is based on Swedish television series “Love Me” that aired in 2019-2020 and was also adapted into Australian television series “Love Me” in 2021. The Korean adaptation will be directed by Jo Young-Min (“Do You Like Brahms?“) and scripted by Park Eun-Young (“The Trunk“) and Park Hee-Kwon (“I Have Not Done My Best Yet“). Actress Seo Hyun-Jin will play Seo Joon-Kyeong for “Love Me.” Her character appears to be a successful woman, living a perfect live, but she hides a secret and is also very lonely.

Air date and broadcast network has not yet been announced for “Love Me.”

Preview trailer for Netflix drama “Mercy for None”

English subtitled preview trailer for Netflix drama series “Mercy for None” starring So Ji-Sub. The drama series also features actor Lee Jun-Hyuk, currently starring in popular SBS drama series “Love Scout,” playing the younger brother of the main character. The younger brother is killed by a gang organization and So Ji-Sub as older brother Nam Gi-Jun sets out for revenge. The noir action drama series is based on webcomic “Gwangjang” written by Oh Se-Hyeong.

“Mercy for None” will be available to stream sometime this year on Netflix.

Sooyoung & Gong Myung cast in tvN drama “Please Take Care of Geum-Joo”

Sooyoung and Gong Myung are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Please Take Care of Geum-Joo” (literal title). Also cast for major supporting character roles are Kim Sung-Ryoung, Kim Sang-Ho, and Jo Yoon-Hee. For the drama series, Sooyoung will play title character Han Geum-Joo. Her given name of Geum-Joo also means abstaining from alcohol, which comes into play when she meets her first love Seo Ui-Joon played by Gong Myung. He works in the medical field and hates alcohol. Han Geum-Joo attempts to quit drinking after being labelled an alcoholic.

“Please Take Care of Geum-Joo” will first air sometime this year in South Korea.

Choi Woo-Sik and Jung So-Min are cast in SBS drama series “Would You Marry Me.” The romantic-comedy drama series is scripted by Lee Ha-Na (“The Time We Were Not In Love“). Choi Woo-Sik will play lead male character Kim Woo-Joo and Jung So-Min will play lead female character Yoo Me-Ri. They pretend to be a newlywed couple, so Yoo Me-Ri can keep a newlywed home she won after she broke off her engagement.

“Would You Marry Me” will first air sometime this year.
