First teaser trailer added for TVING drama series “Chunhwa Love Story” (literal title) starring Go Ara and Chang Ryul. The teaser trailer starts with an anonymous voice stating “This story is about a princess named Hwari.” Around the 45 second mark, Go Ara as Princess Hwari states “There is a man that I want to marry.”

“Chunhwa Love Story” will be available to stream from February 6, 2025 in South Korea.

Main cast announced for movie “Seven O’clock Breakfast Meeting for the Brokenhearted”

Bae Suzy, Lee Jin-Uk, Yoo Ji-Tae, & Keum Sae-Rok are cast in movie “Seven O’clock Breakfast Meeting for the Brokenhearted” (literal title). The film is based on 2012 novel “”Silyeondanghan Saramdeuleul Wihan Ilgob Shi Jochanmoim” by Baek Young-Ok and directed Im Su-Ae. The film will revolve a 7AM meeting held for brokenhearted people. Bae Suzy will play flight attendant Sa-Gang. She went through a tough breakup with a pilot played by Yoo Ji-Tae. Lee Jin-Uk will Ji-Hun. He went through a breakup after a long romantic relationship with a teacher played by Hyeon-Jeong.

Filming for “Seven O’clock Breakfast Meeting for the Brokenhearted” began December 29, 2024 and the movie is expected to be released during winter, 2025.

See list of winners and nominees at the 2024 KBS Drama Awards. The award show took place on December 31, 2024, but did not air until January 11, 2024. The delay in broadcasting the award show was due to a one week national mourning period for the Jeju Air plane crash. Meanwhile, big winners at this year’s KBS Drama Awards were “Dog Knows Everything,” “Iron Family,” and “Beauty and Mr. Romantic.” “Dog Knows Everything” received 4 awards, including the Grand Prize to actor Lee Soon-Jae. “Iron Family” received 9 awards, including Best Actor award to Kim Jung-Hyun and Best Actress award to Park Ji-Young. “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” received 7 awards, including Best Actor award to Ji Hyun-Woo and Best Actress award to Lim Soo-Hyang.

Teaser trailer 2 and teaser poster added for KBS2 drama series “For Eagle Brothers” starring Uhm Ji-Won, Ahn Jae-Wook, Choi Dae-Chul, Kim Dong-Wan, Yoon Park, & Lee Seok-Gi. The drama series has Uhm Ji-Won playing Ma Gwang-Sook. She becomes a widow after only after a few days of marriage and becomes the CEO of a brewery run by her late husband. She also takes care of her four brother-in-laws played by Choi Dae-Chul, Kim Dong-Wan, Yoon Park, & Lee Seok-Gi.

“For Eagle Brothers” first airs February 1, 2025 (takes over KBS2’s Saturday and Sunday 8PM time slot after “Iron Family“).

Kim Da-Mi, Shin Ye-Eun, & Heo Nam-Jun cast in JTBC drama “Memories of No. 100”

Kim Da-Mi, Shin Ye-Eun, & Heo Nam-Jun are cast in JTBC drama series “Memories of No. 100” (literal title). The youth melodrama drama series is scripted by Yang Hee-Seung (“Crash Course in Romance“) and directed by Kim Sang-Ho (“Thirty Nine“). “Memories of No. 100” is set in the 1980’s and will have the two female leads play best friends who work for the same bus company as bus attendants. Heo Nam-Jun will play a man who is the first love of both of the female leads.

“Memories of No. 100” will first air sometime later this year.
