Alice Hirose cast in NTV drama “Nande Watashi ga Kamisekkyou”

Alice Hirose is cast in NTV drama series “Nande Watashi ga Kamisekkyou.” Drama series is scripted by Okura (“Nursing Aide At Your Side“) and directed by Hidemi Uchida (“Nursing Aide At Your Side“) & Seiichi Nagumo (“Hanasaki Mai Speaks Out 2024“). Lead actress Alice Hirose will play a woman who reluctantly becomes a teacher. This will be the first Alice Hirose plays a character who is a teacher. The role is also something of a full circle moment for her as she played a high school student in the same NTV Saturday time slot 12 years ago in drama series “No Dropping Out: Back to School at 35.”

“Nande Watashi ga Kamisekkyou” will first air April, 2025 in Japan.

Trailer and poster for movie “She Taught Me Serendipity”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “She Taught Me Serendipity” starring Riku Hagiwara and Yuumi Kawai. Movie is based on 2020 romance novel “Kyo no Sora ga Ichiban Suki, to Mada Ienai Boku wa” by Shusuke Fukutoku (“The Hero Show“) and directed by Akiko Ohku (“Tremble All You Want“). The trailer also features the music track “Hatsukoi Crazy” by rock band Spitz. The main trailer begins with Toru Konishi (Riku Hagiwara) playing with a dog outside of a shop, when Hana Sakurada (Yuumi Kawai) comes out and smiles at him.

“She Taught Me Serendipity” will be released April 25, 2025 in Japan.

Major supporting actors announced for Netflix drama “Show Business”

Major supporting actors announced for Netflix drama series “Show Business” starring Song Hye-Kyo and Gong Yoo. Announced to play the major supporting roles are Seol Hyun, Cha Seung-Won, and Lee Ha-Nee. They will play characters who are connected with Song Hye-Kyo’s Min-Ja character and Gong Yoo’s Dong-Gu character. The screenplay is set from the 1960’s to the 1980’s and revolves around the entertainment industry. The drama series is scripted by No Hee-Kyung, who most recently wrote the screenplay for “Our Blues” and wrote the screenplays for “That Winter, The Wind Blows” and “Worlds Within……,” which starred Song Hye-Kyo. The drama series is also directed by Lee Yoon-Jung, who worked with Seol Hyun in drama series “Summer Strike” and Gong Yoo in “Coffee Prince.”

Filming for “Show Business” began January 12, 2025.

Teaser trailer and teaser posters added for TVING drama series “Running Mate” starring Yoon Hyun-Soo, Lee Jung-Sic, Choi Woo-Sung, & Hong Hwa-Yeon. The drama series is the first time directing effort from Han Jin-Won, who co-wrote the movie screenplay “Parasite” that won the top prize at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. Ahn Bo-Hyun, Lee Sung-Min, Soo-Hyun, and Ha Yoon-Kyung cast in JTBC drama “God’s Beads”

Ahn Bo-Hyun, Lee Sung-Min, Soo-Hyun, and Ha Yoon-Kyung are cast in JTBC drama series “God’s Beads” (literal title). The drama series is a period action-melodrama that is set in the year 1258, when Goryeo’s war with the Mongol Empire was at its peak. During this time, a special envoy is made to find a holy relic. Ahn Bo-Hyun as Baek-Gyeol is tasked to lead the envoy.

“God’s Beads” will first air sometime later this year.

First teaser trailer added for JTBC drama series “Heavenly Ever After” starring Kim Hye-Ja and Son Suk-Ku. The drama series reunites Kim Hye-Ja (“The Light in Your Eyes“), Son Suk-Ku (“My Liberation Notes“) and Han Ji-Min (“The Light in Your Eyes“/”Behind Your Touch“) with Director Kim Suk-Yoon and Screenwriter Lee Nam-Kyu who worked together on “The Light in Your Eyes,” “My Liberation Notes,” and “Behind Your Touch.” Meanwhile, the first teaser trailer begins with Kim Hye-Ja stating “Is there really such a thing as Heaven?” Caption at the 30 second mark of the teaser states “Our train has now arrived at Heaven Station.”

Teaser poster and release date set for mystery-comedy film “The Noisy Mansion” starring Kyung Soo-Jin, Ko Kyu-Pil, Lee Ji-Hoon, Kim Joo-Ryung. The film revolves around tenants at Baekse Apartment trying to find the source of noise that appears around 4AM. Kyung Soo-Jin plays lead character Geo-Wool, who moves into Baekse Apartment and hears the noise from her first night there.

“The Noisy Mansion” is now set for release February 26, 2025.
