Lee Jang-Woo cast in KBS2 drama series “My Only One”

Lee Jang-Woo is cast in upcoming KBS2 drama series “My Only One” co-starring Uee. Lee Jang-Woo will play lead male character Wang Dae-Ryook in the drama series. His character is the director of a food company and also the successor. He gets involved with Kim Do-Ran (Uee). For Lee Jang-Woo, this is his first acting role since he was discharged from the South Korean military on January 25, 2018. Early working title for the drama series was “Areumdawoon Nae Pyeon” (“My Beautiful Ally”).

“My Only One” first airs September 15, 2018 in South Korea.

OCN drama series “The Player” to air from September 29, 2018

OCN drama series “The Player,” starring Song Seung-Heon and Krystal (‘f(x)‘), is now scheduled to first air September 29, 2018 in South Korea. The drama series will takeover OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 10:20 PM time slot after “Voice 2” and will consist of 14 episodes. Story for the drama series will follow a team consisting of a swindler (Song Seung-Heon), driver (Krystal), hacker (Lee Si-Un) and fighter (Tae Won-Seock) as they go after stolen property hidden away by criminals.

Chun Jung-Myung & Yoon Eun-Hye cast in drama series “Fluttering Warning”

Chun Jung-Myung and Yoon Eun-Hye are cast in drama series “Fluttering Warning” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Seolremjoouibo” by Seo Han-Kyeol. In addition, Han Go-Eun is cast for a major supporting character role. In the drama series, Chun Jung-Myung will play dermatologist Cha Woo-Hyun. Yoon Eun-Hye will play popular actress Yoon Yoo-Jung. They get involved in a scandal and enter into a contract to pretend they are in love.

Exact broadcasting station or airing dates have not yet been decided.

Kim Hee-Seon, Kim Young-Kwang and Kim Hae-Sook cast in tvN drama series “Room Nine”

Kim Hee-Seon, Kim Young-Kwang and Kim Hae-Sook are cast in tvN drama series “Room Nine.” The drama series will be directed by Ji Yeong-Su and screenplay written by Jung Sung-Hee.

In the drama series, Kim Hee-Seon plays ambitious attorney Eulji Hae-Yi. Kim Young-Kwan will play her husband Ki Yoo-Jin. He is a family doctor with a dark side. Lastly, Kim Hae-Sook will play death row convict Jang Hwa-Sa. When she meets attorney Eulji Hae-Yi in room 9 at her prison, they somehow exchange bodies.

“Room Nine” will first air September, 2018, taking over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Mr. Sunshine.”

Kiichi Nakai cast in Koki Mitani directed film “Kioku ni Gozaimasen”

Kiichi Nakai is cast in comedy film “Kioku ni Gozaimasen.” The film is written and directed by Koki Mitani. Also cast in supporting roles are Dean Fujioka, Yuriko Ishida, Masao Kusakari and Koichi Sato. In typical Koki Mitani fashion, the film stars Kiichi Nakai as the prime minister of Japan … but he has lost his memory after someone threw a rock at him. Filming for “Kioku ni Gozaimasen” began July 10, 2018 and finishes late August, 2018 in the suburbs of Tokyo.

“Kioku ni Gozaimasen” will be released sometime next year in Japan.
