Teaser poster and release date added for upcoming movie “Negotiation” (literal title) starring Son Ye-Jin and Hyun-Bin. The film features Son Ye-Jin playing a negotiator for crisis situations and Hyun-Bin playing weapons smuggler. The negotiator has only 12 hours to save the lives of hostages held by the weapons smuggler.
Release date for “Negotiation” is set for September, 2018 in South Korea.
Jung Woong-In and CNU (member of boy band ‘B1A4’) are cast in upcoming SBS Saturday drama series “Miss Ma” (literal title). The drama series is based on novel series “Miss Marple” by English writer Agatha Christie. Actress Kim Yunjin has been offered the lead female role and she is “positively considering” the offer. Jung Woong-In will play lead male character Detective Han Tae-Kyu. His character chases after a woman who escaped from prison. CNU will play supporting character Police Officer Bae Do-Hwan.
“Miss Ma” will first air September, 2018 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Saturday 9PM time slot after “Let Me Introduce Her.”).
Main trailer and poster for movie “Oz Land” starring Haru and Hidetoshi Nishijima. Movie is based on a novel “Ozu no Sekai” by Yoichi Komori and directed by Takafumi Hatano (“SP: The Motion Picture“). The film is set at an amusement park in a rural area. Main character Kurumi Namihiro (Haru) thought she landed a job with a high end hotel, but she is sent to work at its subsidiary … the amusement park.

Ma Dong-Seok, Kim Moo-Yul & Kim Sung-Kyu are cast in movie “Villain Story” (literal title). Movie is directed by Lee Won-Tae (“Man of Will“). The film features a crime boss (Ma Dong-Seok) teaming up with a detective (Kim Moo-Yul) to catch a serial killer. Filming for “Villain Story” began today, July 31, 2018.
“Villain Story” will be released sometime next year in South Korea.
Kento Nakajima (‘Sexy Zone’) and Kenichi Endo are cast in live-action NTV drama series “Dorokei.” The drama series is based on manga “Dorokei” by Shu Fukuda. Taro Otani and Satoru Nakajima are scheduled to direct the drama series. In the drama series, Kento Nakajima will play Detective Tsutomu Madara and Kenichi Endo will play master thief Garasu Kemuri. The duo works together to solve cases.

Actress An Ji-Hyun is cast for the lead female role in upcoming KBS W drama series “That Time When Time Stops” co-starring Kim Hyun-Joong. For the drama series, An Ji-Hyun will play the character of Kim Sun-A. Her character is 25-years-old and she owns a 3 story building. She gets involved with Joon-Woo (Kim Hyun-Joong) who has supernatural powers.
Filming for “That Time When Time Stops” begins August 1, 2018 and Kim Hyun-Joong’s filming will start the following week. “That Time When Time Stops” is scheduled to first air sometime during October, 2018 in South Korea.
Tatsuya Fujiwara is cast in movie “The Sun Does Not Move” (literal title) and WOWOW drama series “The Sun Does Not Move” (literal title). The movie version is based on Shuichi Yoshida novel’s “Taiyo wa Ugokanai” and “Mori wa Shitte Iru,” while the WOWOW drama series will have an original screenplay. In the movie and drama series, Tatsuya Fujiwara will play main character Kazuhiko Takano. He is part of a spy organization “An Tsuushin” and they are after innovative solar energy technology that other countries are attempting to attain. Filming for the movie and drama series will take place simultaneously and filming will take place in Japan and overseas. Eiichiro Hasumi will direct the movie and drama series.
Movie “The Sun Does Not Move” will be released in 2020 and the WOWOW drama series will air sometime in 2020.
Lee Je-Hoon and Chae Soo-Bin are now cast in SBS drama series “Fox Bride Star.” For the drama series, Lee Je-Hoon and Chae Soo-Bin will play main characters Lee Soo-Yeon and Han Yeo-Reum. Earlier Korean working title for the drama series was“Incheongonghang Saramdeul” (“Incheon Airport People”) which gives a clearer idea on the setting for the drama series. Both of the main characters are new employees at Incheon International Airport. Lee Soo-Yeon comes from a science & engineer background while Han Yeo-Reum works in customer service. The drama series is directed by Shin Woo-Cheol and scripted by Kang Eun-Kyung. The duo previously worked together in MBC drama series “Gu Family Book..”
“Fox Bride Star” first airs October, 2018 in South Korea (takes over SBS’ Monday & Tuesday 10 PM (“Still 17“).
Trailer and poster added for movie “Itsumo Tsukiyo ni Kome no Meshi” starring Aina Yamada and Soko Wada. The film follows a young woman who goes to a small town to takeover an izakaya restaurant that her mother ran. The them song for the movie is “Yuki” by Kayoko Yoshizawa and the theme song appears in the trailer. Movie is written and directed by Ayaka Kato.
