Kiichi Nakai cast in Koki Mitani directed film “Kioku ni Gozaimasen”

Kiichi Nakai is cast in comedy film “Kioku ni Gozaimasen.” The film is written and directed by Koki Mitani. Also cast in supporting roles are Dean FujiokaYuriko Ishida, Masao Kusakari and Koichi Sato. In typical Koki Mitani fashion, the film stars Kiichi Nakai as the prime minister of Japan … but he has lost his memory after someone threw a rock at him. Filming for “Kioku ni Gozaimasen” began July 10, 2018 and finishes late August, 2018 in the suburbs of Tokyo.

“Kioku ni Gozaimasen” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Lee Da-Hee and Ahn Jae-Hyeon cast in JTBC drama series “The Beauty Inside”

Lee Da-Hee and Ahn Jae-Hyeon are cast in JTBC drama series “The Beauty Inside” starring Seo Hyun-Jin and Lee Min-Ki. Lee Da-Hee and Ahn Jae-Hyeon will play major supporting characters in the drama series.

Lee Da-Hee will play Kang Sa-Ra. She is a stepsister of Seo Do-Jae (Lee Min-Ki). Her character is smart, ambitious and arrogant. She pays attention to Han Se-Kye’s (Seo Hyun-Jin) secret. Ahn Jae-Hyeon will play Ryu Eun-Ho. He is friends with Han Se-Kye. He wants to become a Catholic priest. He meets Seo Do-Jae who tries to uncover Han Se-Kye’s secret. Kang Sa-Ra also likes Ryu Eun-Ho.

“The Beauty Inside” is now set to first air September 17, 2018 in South Korea.

Issei Takahashi cast in Fuji TV drama series “Bokura wa Kiseki de Dekite Iru”

Issei Takahashi is cast in new Fuji TV drama series “Bokura wa Kiseki de Dekite Iru.” The drama series is scripted by Atsuko Hashibe and directed by Keita KonoKazunari Hoshino. In the drama series, Issei Takahashi will play Kazuki Aikawa. He teaches the subject of ethology (study of animal behavior), but has peculiar teaching methods.

“Bokura wa Kiseki de Dekite Iru” first airs October, 2018 in Japan.

Takako Matsu, Suzu Hirose, Masaharu Fukuyama and Ryunosuke Kamiki cast in movie “Last Letter”

Takako MatsuSuzu Hirose, Masaharu Fukuyama and Ryunosuke Kamiki are cast in movie “Last Letter.” The film is written and directed by Shunji Iwai. For Takako Matsu and Shunji Iwai they previously worked together in 1998 movie “April Story.” Filming for “Last Letter” will begin July 24, 2018 and finish August, 2018. Shooting locations will include Sendai and other areas of Miyagi Prefecture and also Tokyo. The film is set in the present day and will have plenty of flashback scenes to the main character’s high school days. Takako Matsu will play Yuri Kishibeno. She goes to her late sister’s high school reunion to inform them of her sister’s passing, but she is mistaken for her sister. She then meets her first love played by Masaharu Fukuyama who also mistakes her for her late sister.

“Last Letter” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “Day and Night”

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Day and Night” starring Shinnosuke Abe and Masanobu Ando. Movie is directed by Michihito Fujii (“Oh! Father“) and produced by popular actor Takayuki Yamada. Supporting cast for the film has also been revealed and they include Kaya Kiyohara, Tetsushi Tanaka, Manami Konishi, Aimi Satsukawa, Motoki Fukami, Ryo Fujimoto, Sho Kasamatsu, Reina Ikehata, Takashi Yamanaka, Yasushi Fuchikami, Hiroyuki Watanabe, Shigeru Muroi.

Lastly, release date for “Day and Night” is now set for January 26, 2019 in Japan.
