Keita Machida and Kotaro Koizumi cast in TV Tokyo drama “Shissounin Sousakuhan”

Keita Machida and Kotaro Koizumi cast in TV Tokyo drama series “Shissounin Sousakuhan.” The suspense drama series will have Keita Machida play Tatsuhiko Shirosaki. He worked as a detective until his wife went missing and the police department didn’t investigate her case. He then resigned from the police department and started his own private detective office to find his wife. Kotaro Koizumi will play Shinpei Sasazuka. He is the former detective partner of Tatsuhiko Shirosaki and continues to help Tatsuhiko Shirosaki after he resigned from the police force.

“Shissounin Sousakuhan” will first air April 11, 2025 in Japan (takes over TV Tokyo’s Friday 9PM time slot after “Hotei no Dragon“).

Hiroshi Abe, Mei Nagano, and Shunsuke Michieda are cast in TBS drama series “Caster.” The drama series features an original screenplay that revolves around a long running news program that is mired with low ratings. Hiroshi Abe will play Soichi Shindo. He is hired to become the new anchorman for the program. He is an unconventional fellow who follows his own rules to investigate cases and will do anything to reveal the truth. Mei Nagano will play Hana Sakikubo. She is the new program director for the news program and her background is in variety shows. Shunsuke Michieda will play Yusuke Motohashi. He is an assistant director and in his second year at the station.

“Caster” will first air April, 2025 in Japan (takes over TBS’ Sunday 9PM time slot after “Mr. Mikami’s Classroom“).

Teaser trailer and poster for movie “Revelations”

Teaser trailer and poster added for Netflix distributed movie “Revelations” starring Ryu Jun-Yeol and Shin Hyun-Bin. Movie is directed by Yeon Sang-Ho (“Train To Busan“) and also based on webcomic Gyeshirok” that he wrote. The film follows a pastor played by Ryu Jun-Yeol and a detective played by Shin Hyun-Bin who chase after the suspect in a missing person case for different reasons. Caption on the poster states “With twisted faith, madness begins.”

“Revelations” is now set to premiere March 21, 2025 on Netflix.

Trailer added for movie “Lobby” starring Ha Jung-Woo, Kim Eui-Sung, and Lee Dong-Hwi. The movie is also Ha Jung-Woo’s third directed film after 2013 movie “Fasten Your Seatbelt” and 2015 movie “Chronicle of a Blood Merchant.” Movie “Lobby,” has Ha Jung-Woo as start-up CEO Yoon Chang-Wook. The drama series is a romantic-comedy directed by Kim Jung-Sik (“No Gain No Love“). Kim Ji-Soo and Seo In-Guk will webtoon producers who work for the same company and are rivals. Kim Ji-Soo’s character Seo Mi-Rae is busy career woman and doesn’t have time for romance. Cho Yi-Hyun and Choo Yeong-Woo are cast in tvN drama series “Gyeon-Woo and the Fairy” (literal title). The teen-romance drama series is based on popular webcomic “Gyeonwoowa Sunnyeo” by An Soo-Min and directed by Kim Yong-Wan (“The Whirlwind“).
