First trailer for movie “Escape from Mogadishu”

First trailer for movie “Escape from Mogadishu” starring Kim Yun-Seok & Zo In-Sung. The movie is inspired by a real life incident that occurred in Mogadishu, Somali during its civil war in 1991. Officials from South Korea and North Korea had to work together to flee Mogadishu when fierce fighting broke out. Captions in the trailer states (0:14) “Year 1991, Somalia,” (0:39) “In the middle of a civil war,” (0:45) “Isolated People,” (1:02) “Must,” (1:11) “Go Back.” Above and below are the first 11 still images from the movie and a teaser poster.

Park Min-Young, Song Kang, Yoon Park, & Yura cast in JTBC drama “Meteorological Administration People: Office Romance Cruelty”

Park Min-YoungSong KangYoon Park, and Yura (Girl’s Day) are cast in JTBC drama series “Meteorological Administration People: Office Romance Cruelty” (literal title). The drama series will revolve around people who work in weather forecasting. Park Min-Young will play Jin Ha-Kyung. She works as a weather forecaster. Song Kang will play Lee Shi-Woo. He works with weather alerts. Yoon Park will play Han Ki-Joon. He works as a weather forecaster. Lastly, Yura will play Chae Yoo-Jin. She works as a weather reporter for a daily newspaper. The Korean title for the drama series was changed from “Sanaeyeonae Janhoksa” (literally “Office Romance Cruelty”) to “Gisangchung Saramdeul: Sanaeyeonae Janhoksa Pyeon” (literally “Meteorological Administration People: Office Romance Cruelty Version”).

“Meteorological Administration People: Office Romance Cruelty” will first air sometime in the first half of 2022.

Eita Nagayama and Osamu Mukai cast in NHK drama “Bakumatsu Aiboden”

Eita Nagayama and Osamu Mukai are cast in NHK drama series “Bakumatsu Aiboden.” The drama series is set during Bakumatsu, which is the later years of the Edo period. Eita Nagayama and Osamu Mukai will play two men tasked with finding the person who attempted to murder the shogun. The drama series is based on 2008 novel “Aibo” by Takahisa Igarashi.

“Bakumatsu Aiboden” will air January, 2022 in Japan.

First teaser trailers for KBS2 drama “Red Shoes”

First teaser trailers added for KBS2 drama series “Red Shoes” starring Choi Myoung-Gil & So E-Hyun. The two leads play mother and daughter in the weekeday evening drama series.

Version 1 of the first teaser trailer features Choi Myoung-Gil as Min Hee-Kyung. She states “Dreaming of a happy life, I met a man and started a family, but my life never had happiness. I wanted to succeed and wanted to become happy. I wanted to live for my own dream. I am innocent.” Version 2 features So E-Hyun as Kim Zem-Ma. She states in her teaser “I’ve never been blessed since I was born. Mom, your life was only about your pursuit of your dream. One day, you disappeared into the light and we were forgotten. My mind toward you changed from longing to hatred and from love to curses. I can’t forgive you.”

“Red Shoes” first airs July 5, 2021 in South Korea.
