Movie “Mogadishu,” starring Kim Yun-Seok & Zo In-Sung, picks up a tentative July, 2021 release date in South Korea. The film is directed by Ryoo Seung-Wan (“The Unjust“) and is inspired by a real life incident that took place in Mogadishu, Somalia around January, 1991. The film was originally scheduled for release summer, 2020, but the Covid-19 outbreak caused the delay in the movie’s release.

Main trailer and poster added for movie “The Great Yokai War: Guardians” starring Kokoro Terada, Hana Sugisaki, & Takao Osawa. The trailer and poster shows the Daimajin, which is a Demon God and he saves people. The movie itself features the impending doom of the world and a great war taking place among the yokai. Mitsuki Takahata is cast for the lead role in WOWOW drama series “Stranger” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2015 novel “Iribito” by Maha Harada (“Runway Beat“) and directed by Kentaro Hagiwara (“Tokyo Ghoul“). Mitsuki Takahata will play Naho Takamura in the drama series. She travels to Kyoto from Tokyo for her pregnancy and becomes fascinated by a painting by an unknown painter.
“Stranger” will consist of 5 episodes and air sometime this winter in Japan.

Yutaka Matsushige is cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Solitary Gourmet Season 9.” The drama series is based on manga series “Kodoku no Gourmet” by Masayuki Qusumi. Yutaka Matsushige will reprise his by now familiar character of Goro Inogashira.
