The drama series revolves around 5 people who meet through their common interest in stock investing. Masami Nagasawa, Gordon Maeda, & Ryohei Suzuki cast in Fuji TV drama “Elpis: Hope or Disaster”

Masami Nagasawa, Gordon Maeda, and Ryohei Suzuki are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Elpis: Hope or Disaster” (literal title). The drama series will have Masami Nagasawa, Gordon Maeda and Ryohei Suzuki playing employees of a broadcasting station. Masami Nagasawa will play Announcer Ena Asakawa, Gordon Maeda will play Director Takuro Kishimoto, and Ryohei Suzuki will play Reporter Seiichi Saito. They work together to prove the innocence of a man convicted in a serial murder case. The drama series is scripted by Aya Watanabe (“Josee, the Tiger and the Fish“) and directed by Hitoshi One (“Love Strikes!“).

“Elpis: Hope or Disaster” will first air October, 2022 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Monday 10PM time slot after “Renovation Like Magic“).

Jung Yong-Hwa, Cha Tae-Hyun cast in KBS2 drama “Brain Cooperation”

Jung Yong-Hwa, Cha Tae-Hyun, Kwak Sun-Young and Ye Ji-Won are cast in KBS2 drama series “Brain Cooperation” (literal title). The crime investigation-comedy drama series will have Jung Yong-Hwa play Neuroscientist Shin Ha-Ru and Cha Tae-Hyun play Detective Geum Myung-Se. They work together on cases with the help of Hypnotic Investigator Seol So-Jung played by Kwak Sun-Young.

“Brain Cooperation” will first air sometime during the first half of 2023 in South Korea.

Ma Dong-Seok & Lee Joon-Hyuk cast for lead roles in movie “The Outlaws 3”

Ma Dong-Seok & Lee Joon-Hyuk are cast for lead roles in movie “The Outlaws 3” (temporary title). Also cast in the film are Munetaka Aoki, Lee Beom-Soo, Kim Min-Jae, Jun Suk-Ho, & Ko Kyu-Pil. The film is a sequel to 2017 movie “The Outlaws” and 2022 movie “The Roundup.” Ma Dong-Seok will reprise his role of Ma Suk-Do and Lee Joon-Hyuk will play villain Joo Sung-Cheol. Actor Munetaka Aoki will play the role of Riki, who is a member of the Japanese yakuza.

Filming for “The Outlaws 3” began July 20, 2022, but release date has not yet been determined.

Park Bo-Young, Yeon Woo-Jin, Jang Dong-Yoon, and Lee Jung-Eun are cast in Netflix drama series “Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Jungshinbyungdongedo Achimeun Wayo” by Lee Ra-Ha. The drama series is set at a hospital and revolves around Nurse Jung Da-Eun played by Park Bo-Young. The original webcomic is based on writer Lee Ra-Ha’s own personal experience when working as a nurse in the psychiatric ward of a hospital.

Release date for “Morning Comes to Psychiatric Wards Too” has not yet been revealed.
