First teaser poster for tvN drama “Little Women”

Here’s the first teaser poster for tvN drama series “Little Women” (literal title) starring Kim Go-Eun, Nam Ji-Hyun, & Park Ji-Hu. The drama series will have the three lead actresses play sisters. They come from a poor background, but they end up fighting against the richest and most influential family in the country.

“Little Women” first airs September, 2022 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Saturday and Sunday 9PM time slot after “Alchemy of Souls“).

Rina Kawaei cast in Fuji TV drama “My Dearest Self with Malice Aforethought”

Rina Kawaei cast for lead female role in Fuji TV live-action drama series “My Dearest Self with Malice Aforethought” co-starring Ryosuke Yamada. The drama series is based on manga series “Shinai naru Boku e Satsui wo Komete” by Hajime Inoryuu and directed by Hiroaki Matsuyama (“Liar Game“). For the drama series, Rina Kawaei will play Nami. Her character is an original character and partly based off Rei Shinmyouji from the original manga series. When her friend is murdered, Nami decides to work with Eiji Urashima (Ryosuke Yamada) to find the killer.

“My Dearest Self with Malice Aforethought” will first air October, 2022 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Wednesday 10PM time slot after “Teppachi“).

Trailer added for movie “Inu mo Kuwane do Charlie wa Warau” starring Shingo Katori & Yukino Kish. The romantic-comedy film revolves around a married couple of 4 years. The husband discovers that his wife uses the website “Husband Death Note.” Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Kokoronomamani” by Never Young Beach. The track is also played during the trailer.

Ryo Yoshizawa is cast for the lead role in Fuji TV drama series “PICU: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.” The drama series will have Ryo Yoshizawa play the lead character for the first time in a drama series and the first time he will play a doctor. The screenplay is set in Hokkaido, Japan and revolves around the newly establish PICU ((Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) at a local hospital.

Sehun, Jo Joon-Young, & Jang Yeo-Bin cast in TVING drama “All That We Loved”

Sehun, Jo Joon-Young, & Jang Yeo-Bin are cast in TVING teen romance drama series “All That We Loved” (literal title). The original screenplay will have the three main characters fall into a love triangle with some unusual twists. Go Yoo (Sehun) once donated a kidney to Go Joon-Hee (Jo Joon-Young) and this led Go Joon-Hee to experience cellular memory syndrome (inheriting memories of the organ donor). They both fall in love with a transfer student played by Jang Yeo-Bin.

“All That We Loved” will be available to stream in South Korea sometime next year.

Masami NagasawaGordon Maeda, and Ryohei Suzuki are cast in Fuji TV drama series “Elpis: Hope or Disaster” (literal title). The drama series will have Masami Nagasawa, Gordon Maeda and Ryohei Suzuki playing employees of a broadcasting station. Masami Nagasawa will play Announcer Ena Asakawa, Gordon Maeda will play Director Takuro Kishimoto, and Ryohei Suzuki will play Reporter Seiichi Saito. They work together to prove the innocence of a man convicted in a serial murder case. The drama series is scripted by Aya Watanabe (“Josee, the Tiger and the Fish“) and directed by Hitoshi One (“Love Strikes!“).
