Nobuyuki Suzuki and Rio Uchida are cast in TV Tokyo live-action drama series “Jitenshaya-san no Takahashi-kun.” The drama series is based on manga “Jitenshaya-san no Takahashi-kun” by Arare Matsumushi. The screenplay will revolve around a romance between a bicycle owner, who has a thug’ish appearance, and a office worker lady.
“Jitenshaya-san no Takahashi-kun” first airs November, 2022 (takes over TV Tokyo’s Thursday 24:30 time slot after “Chaser Game“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Tomoko Hanno (Rio Uchida) is a single, 30-year-old woman and she works for a company. She was born and raised in Tokyo, but she currently lives alone in Gifu. She isn’t very good socializing with other people and she has a hard time expressing her opinions. She also agonizes over the subtle sexual harassment she experiences from her boss and her inability to refuse recommendations from her coworkers. One day, Tomoko Hanno discovers the bicycle chain has fallen off her bicycle. She stops at a nearby bicycle shop for help. There, she meets Ryohei Takahashi (Nobuyuki Suzuki). He runs the bicycle shop and is a good looking guy, but he looks like a delinquent. Soon, Tomoko Hanno becomes attracted to Ryohei Takahashi.
