Main trailer & poster for movie “Seven Secretaries: The Movie”

Main trailer and poster added for movie “Seven Secretaries: The Movie” starring Fumino Kimura, Alice Hirose, Nanao, Shim Eun-Kyung. The movie is a sequel to 2020 TV Asahi drama series “Seven Secretaries,” with the seven lead actors from the drama series reprising their roles in the upcoming movie. Newly announced cast members for the movie are Hiroshi Tamaki, Gaku Hamada, Michiko Kichise, and Tsurube Shofukutei. The movie will have the seven secretaries help local residents take on the powerful Tsukumo family.

“Seven Secretaries: The Movie” will be released October 7, 2022 in Japan.

Ryo Yoshizawa and Aoi Miyazaki are cast in Netflix movie “In Love and Deep Water.” Movie is setup as a mystery/romantic-comedy that takes place on a luxury cruise ship. Ryo Yoshizawa will play Suguru Ubukata. He works as a butler on the cruise ship. Aoi Miyazaki will play Chizuru Banjaku. She is a mysterious passenger on the cruise ship. Mizuki Yoshida & Takako Tokiwa are cast in movie “Atsui Munasawagi.” The film is based on 2019 stage play “Atsui Munasawagi.” For the upcoming movie, Mizuki Yoshida will play university student Chinatsu and Takako Tokiwa will play Chinatsu’s mother Akiko. The mother finds a medical note in her daughter’s room asking her daughter to come back for a breast cancer re-screening.

“Atsui Munasawagi” will be released sometime next year in Japan.

Yuriyan Retriever cast in Netflix drama “The Queen of Villains”

Yuriyan Retriever is cast in Netflix drama series “The Queen of Villains.” She will play real life wrestler Dump Matsumoto in the drama series. Dump Matsumoto became famous as a professional wrestler during the 1980’s as an evil wrestler. Comedian Yuriyan Retriever underwent training for a year period and gained 29 kilograms to play the role (went from 65 to 93 kg). The drama series is directed by Kazuya Shiraishi (“The Devil’s Path“) and scripted by Osamu Suzuki (“The Last Chance: Diary of Comedians“).

“The Queen of Villains” will be released sometime next year on Netflix.

Han Hye-Jin cast in JTBC drama “Sacred Divorce”

Han Hye-Jin is cast for lead female role in JTBC drama series “Sacred Divorce” (literal title) co-starring Cho Seung-Woo. The drama series is based on webcomic “Shinsunghan, Yihon” by Kang Tae-Kyung. In “Sacred Divorce,” Han Hye-Jin will play the role of Lee Seo-Jin. Her character used to work as a weather reporter, but she now works as a radio program DJ. While in the midst of getting a divorce, she gets involved with a divorce attorney played by Cho Seung-Woo.

“Sacred Divorce” first airs sometime during the first half of 2023 in South Korea.
