Second teaser trailer for SBS drama “One Dollar Lawyer”

Second teaser trailer added for SBS drama series “One Dollar Lawyer” starring Namkoong Min & Kim Ji-Eun. The teaser trailer shows how Baek Ma-Ri (Kim Ji-Eun) ends up working for Lawyer Cheon Ji-Hun (Namkoong Min). Baek Ma-Ri is the granddaughter of Lawyer Baek Hyun-Mu (Lee Deok-Hwa), who founded powerful Baek Law Firm. She is set to begin working as an intern at her grandfather’s law firm, but he lays out one condition for her to work at his company. Baek Ma-Ri must first work with Lawyer Cheon Ji-Hun for 2 months. He is known as the One Dollar Lawyer. Below are still images of Kim Ji-Eun as Baek Ma-Ri in the drama series.

“One Dollar Lawyer” will first air September 23, 2022 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer & poster for TVING drama “Bargain”

First teaser trailer and poster added for TVING drama series “Bargain” starring Jin Sun-Kyu, Jun Jong-Seo, & Chang Ryul. Caption on the teaser poster states “A dangerous deal among crazy people.” The teaser trailer begins with No Hyung-Soo (Jin Sun-Kyu) entering a motel room and being pleased with Park Joo-Young’s (Jun Jong-Seo) appearance. But, he soon finds himself tied up and surrounded by people bidding on his organs. The drama series was filmed in the one take technique, where the entire series appears to be taken in one continuous scene.

“Bargain” will consist of 6 episodes and be available to stream from October, 2022 in South Korea.

Teaser trailer & poster for movie “Familia”

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Familia” starring Koji Yakusho & Ryo Yoshizawa. Movie is directed by Izuru Narushima (“To Each His Own“) and scripted by Kiyotaka Inagaki. Around the 21 second mark of the teaser trailer, Ryo Yoshizawa states “We speak different languages and we grew up in different circumstances, but we became a family.” The film follows the relationship between a father and a son.

“Familia” will be released January 6, 2023 in Japan.

SBS drama “The Police Station Next to the Fire Station” to first air Nov. 11th

SBS drama series “The Police Station Next to the Fire Station” starring Kim Rae-Won, Son Ho-Jun, & Gong Seung-Yeon, is now scheduled to first air November 11, 2022 in South Korea. The drama series will take over SBS’ Friday and Saturday 10PM time slot after “One Dollar Lawyer.” In addition, the drama series will have a sequel “The Police Station Next to the Fire Station Season 2” that will air sometime next year in South Korea. As the literal drama series title suggests, the screenplay will follow police officers and fire fighters, who are neighbors, work together to solve cases.

Cha Eun-Woo cast in drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog”

Cha Eun-Woo is cast in new drama series “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Onueldo Sarangseureobgae” by Lee Hye. The unusual fantasy-romance drama series will have Cha Eun-Woo play high school teacher Jin Seo-Won. One night, a female teacher colleague kisses him and then keeps approaching him. It turns out that the woman has an unusual family curse. The curse causes the woman to turn into a dog, from midnight to 6AM, everyday after she kisses someone. That curse can only be broken if she kisses the same person again when she is in her dog form. Casting for the female lead and broadcast network for the drama series has not yet been decided.

Filming for “A Good Day to Be a Dog” will begin October, 2022.

Taiga Kyomoto & Sakura Fujiwara cast in NTV drama “Tsuka no Ma no Ichika”

Taiga Kyomoto & Sakura Fujiwara are cast in NTV live-action drama series “Tsuka no Ma no Ichika.” The drama series is based on manga series “Tsuka no Ma no Ichika” by Natsu Tadano. The melodrama-romance story will have Taiga Kyomoto playing university professor Akifumi Yurugi and Sakura Fujiwara play university student Ichika Sendawara. About three years ago, Ichika Sendawara was told she only had 2 years left to live.

“Tsuka no Ma no Ichika” will first air October, 2022 in Japan (takes over NTV’s Monday 2AM time slot after “Keshigomu wo Kureta Joshi wo Suki ni Natta“).

First teaser trailer added for TVING drama series “Beyond The Memory” starring Shin Ha-Kyun & Han Ji-Min. The sci-fi’ish drama series “Beyond The Memory” is set in the year 2032. A man played by Shin Ha-Kyun receives messages from his late wife played by Han Ji-Min. She wants to meet him in a place called Yonder. The first teaser trailer begins with Shin Ha-Kyun’s voice asking “Yonder. What is Yonder?” Around the 24 second mark, Han Ji-Min states “I’m here. If you want to meet me, come here.” At the 51 second mark, Han Ji-Min states asks “You’re here?” Captions in the teaser states (0:33) “Loved One,” (0:36) “Can Meet,” (0:39) “The Last Space.”
