Trailer and poster for movie “Downfall”

Trailer and poster added for movie “Downfall” starring Takumi Saito, Shuri, and Megumi. Movie is based on manga series “Reiraku” by Inio Asano and directed by veteran actor Naoto Takenaka. More cast members has also been announced for the film and they are Hisashi YoshizawaEiji SugawaraDaisuke KurodaShiho Sasaki and Ryohei Shima. Lastly, the movie’s theme song has been revealed as “Doremi” by Ryohei Shima. and he also appears in the film as a freelance writer. The theme song can be heard in the main trailer as well.

“Downfall” will be released March 17, 2023 in Japan.

First teaser trailer added for MBC drama series “Kokdu: Season of Deity” starring Kim Jung-Hyun and Lim Soo-Hyang. The teaser trailer has Kim Jung-Hyun asking around the 28 second mark “Who are you?” The fantasy-romance drama series revolves around a grim reaper named Kok-Du (Kim Jung-Hyun) and Dr. Han Gye-Jeol (Lim Soo-Hyang) who has a special power. Below are the first still images of Kim Jung-Hyun in the drama series.

Teaser trailer 2 added for tvN drama series “Crash Course in Romance” starring Jeon Do-Yeon and Jung Kyoung-Ho. In teaser trailer 2, Jeon Do-Yeon introducing herself as “I’m Nam Haeng-Sun, who was a player on national handball team, and now runs National Athletic Side Dish Store,” followed by Jung Kyoung-Ho stating (0:05) “Man of one trillion won,” and Jeon Do-Yeon stating (0:08) “He is a top star lecturer and he is like BTS of the private education field.” These two people, who seem to not have many things in common, somehow get involved with each other in the drama series.

“Crash Course in Romance” will first air January 14, 2023 in South Korea.

Ahn Jae-Hyeon cast in KBS2 drama “The Real One Has Appeared”

Ahn Jae-Hyeon is cast for the lead male role in KBS2 drama series “The Real One Has Appeared” (literal title) co-starring Baek Jin-Hee. Ahn Jae-Hyeon will replace Kwak Si-Yang, who had to drop out of the drama series due to scheduling issues. In “The Real One Has Appeared.” Ahn Jae-Hyeon will play Gong Tae-Kyung. He works as a ob-gyn and is single by choice. He meets Oh Yeon-Doo (Baek jin-Hee) as his patient.

“The Real One Has Appeared” first airs April, 2023 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday & Sunday 8PM time slot after “Three Bold Siblings“).

English subtitled teaser trailer added for Netflix distributed movie “Jung-E” starring Kim Hyun-Joo, Kang Soo-Yeon, & Ryoo Kyung-Soo. The release date is also set for January 20, 2023. Caption on the teaser poster states “Cronoid Company’s A.I. combat mercenary soldier Jung-E  is going to be released soon.” The film is set in the future where climate change has caused the planet to become uninhabitable and humans live within man made shelters. An AI robot gets its brained cloned from legendary soldier Jung-E (Kim Hyun-Joo) to end a war that has erupted within the shelter.

Riho Yoshioka, Serena Motola, Utaha, and Marika Matsumoto are cast in movie “Ice Cream Fever.” Movie is based on short story “Ice Cream Netsu” by Mieko Kawakami and directed by Tetsuya Chihara. The film revolves around four women, with Riho Yoshioka playing lead character Natsumi Tsuneta, whose lives intersect through an ice cream shop.

“Ice Cream Fever” will be released summer, 2023 in Japan.

Filming for movie “Hwaran” finishes

Filming for movie “Hwaran,” starring Song Joong-Ki and Hong Sa-Bin, finished December 12, 2022 in South Korea. Filming began September 13, 2022 and took a total of 3 months to complete. Actor Song Joong-Ki plays a mid-level crime boss in the movie and accepted the role without receiving pay. Song Joon-Ki stated after filming finished that “From the time I read the script, I was curious and looked forward to how the scenes would be depicted. I thought this was a work that had to be made into a movie and it was worth it. I am grateful to be able to participate in such a work.”

Release date for “Hwaran” has not yet been announced.
