Teaser trailer #3 added for MBC drama series “Kokdu: Season of Deity” starring Kim Jung-Hyun & Lim Soo-Hyang. The romance-fantasy drama series has Kim Jung-Hyun playing a grim reaper and Lim Soo-Hyang plays a doctor with a special ability. Teaser trailer #3 begins with Kim Jung-Hyun stating “I’ll meet Seol-Yi no matter what.” Below is a new romantic poster for the drama series.

Sakura Ando & Eita Nagayama cast in Hirokazu Koreeda directed film “Monster.” Also cast in the movie are Soya Kurokawa, Hinata Hiiragi, Mitsuki Takahata, Akihiro Kakuta, Shido Nakamura, and Yuko Tanaka. Filming for the movie took place from spring to summer, 2022. The movie’s first teaser trailer and teaser poster has also been released. The teaser trailer shows flashes of the main characters, with the voices of children chanting “Monster, guess who?” in the background. The teaser trailer ends mysteriously with a drop of blood splashing on the floor.
“Monster” will be released June 2, 2023 in Japan.
Kim Sun-A, Oh Yoon-Ah, Shin Eun-Jung, & Yoo-Sun are cast in Channel A drama series “Queen of the Mask” (literal title). Setup for the drama series have will have the four women, who were friends 10 years ago, crossing paths again due to a man. Kim Sun-A will play Do Jae-Yi. She is a human rights attorney, who has a dark side. Oh Yoon-A will play Go Yoo-Na. A murder case 10 years caused her to flee to the United States, but she returns to Korea due to the disappearance of her daughter.
“Queen of the Mask” will air sometime during the first half of this year in South Korea.

English subtitled trailer added for Netflix movie “Jung-E” starring Kim Hyun-Joo, Kang Soo-Yeon, & Ryoo Kyung-Soo. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic world, where humans live in space stations. A war ensues between humans there and a legendary soldier (Kim Hyun-Joo) is cloned to android soldiers to end the war. Movie is written and directed by Yeon Sang-Ho (“Train To Busan“).
“Jung-E” will be available to stream from January 20, 2023.

Ep.1 trailers added for tvN drama series “Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist 2” starring Kim Min-Jae, Kim Hyang-Gi, & Kim Sang-Kyung. There’s actually two versions of the ep.1 trailer with the shorter version starting off with Yoo Se-Poong (Kim Min-Jae) stating “I miss you so much” to an illusion of Seo Eun-Woo (Kim Hyang-Gi). This scene is only in the shorter trailer. Both trailers shows the King (Oh Kyung-Joo), whose life is in danger, ordering Yoo Se-Poong to save him.

First teaser trailer and poster added for Coupang Play drama series “Bait” (literal title) starring Jang Keun-Suk & Heo Sung-Tae. The drama series had the early Korean working title of “Beomjweui Yeondaegi” (literally “Chronicles of Crime”), but more recently changed to “Miggi” (literally “Bait”). Captions in the first teaser trailer states (0:14) “”5 trillion won worth fraud,” (0:29) “Tens of thousands of victims,” (0:34) “8 years later,” (0:50) “All the evidence,” (0:53) “Points to him.”

Trailer added for tvN drama series “Crash Course in Romance” starring Jeon Do-Yeon and Jung Kyoung-Ho. The trailer begins with Nam Haeng-Sun’s (Jeon Do-Yeon) daughter Nam Hae-Yi (Roh Yoon-Seo) stating “Let me enlist in the private institute where Ilta Choi Chi-Yeol teaches math.” This is how Nam Haeng-Sun and Choi Chi-Yeol (Jung Kyoung-Ho), who have nothing in common, become involved with each other.

Main poster and February, 2023 release date set for movie “Next Sohee” starring Bae Doo-Na & Kim Si-Eun. The main poster features Bae Doo-Na as Detective Yoo-Jin. She appears to be looking for someone among people at a call center. The movie had its world premiere as the closing film for the Critics’ Week parallel section of the Cannes Film Festival. Caption on the movie poster quotes the Cannes Film Festival that stated “Shocking, but couldn’t take eyes off from the work.”
