Trailer & poster for movie “G-Men”

Trailer & poster added for live-action film “G-Men” starring Yuta Kishi, Ryo Ryusei, & Shintaro Morimoto. Movie is based on manga series “G-Men” by Toshio Ozawa and directed by Toichiro Ruto (“The Way of the Househusband The Movie“). Meanwhile, the movie’s theme song has been announced as “Ranran” by rock band The Cro-Magnons. The theme song is played during the main trailer.

“G-Men” will be released August 25, 2023 in Japan.

Kazunari Ninomiya, Takao Osawa & Miki Nakatani cast in Fuji TV drama “One Day”

Kazunari NinomiyaTakao Osawa and Miki Nakatani are cast in Fuji TV drama series “One Day: Seiya no kara Sawagi.” Drama series will be directed by Masayuki Suzuki (“Masquerade Hotel“) and scripted by Yuichi Tokunaga (“Daughter of Lupin“). The drama series will also feature Takao Osawa and Miki Nakatani starring together in a drama series for the first time since 2011 TBS drama series “Jin 2.” Story for “One Day: Seiya no kara Sawagi” will have the three main characters coming from different backgrounds but their fates become intertwined as the truth behind a shooting case is revealed.

“One Day: Seiya no kara Sawagi” first airs October, 2023 in Japan (takes over Fuji TV’s Monday 9PM time slot after “Manatsu no Cinderella“).

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “You Made My Dawn” starring Ruki Shiroiwa & Rinka Kumada. Movie is based on 2017 novel “Yoru ga Aketara, Ichiban ni Kimi ni Ai ni Iku” by Natsue Shiomi and directed by Mai Sakai (“Opening Night“). The theme song for the teen-romance film has also been announced as “Gradation” by boy band JO1. “Graduation” plays during the teaser trailer as well.

“You Made My Dawn” will be released September 1, 2023 in Japan.

Kang Ji-Young & Lee Gi-Kwang cast in drama “I Kill You”

Kang Ji-Young & Lee Gi-Kwang are cast in new drama series “I Kill You” (working title). “I Kill You” will have veteran film director  Yu Ha (“Gangnam Blues“) directing his first ever drama series. In “I Kill You,” Jang Ji-Young will play two characters. Sun-Woo is a former takekwondo athlete and now part-time worker in various jobs. She is hired to become the stand-in for a rich chaebol heiress Ji-Yeon, who will also be played by Kang Ji-Young. Lee Gi-Kwang will play Ho-Joong. He is the stepbrother of Ji-Yeon and jealous of his stepsister.

Filming for “I Kill You” is currently underway and the drama series is targeted for release in the second half of this year.

Ep.1 trailer for JTBC drama “Miraculous Brothers”

Ep.1 trailer added for JTBC drama series “Miraculous Brothers” starring Jung Woo & Bae Hyun-Sung. The drama series is directed by Park Chan-Hong and scripted by Kim Ji-Woo, who have worked together on such drama series as “Beautiful World,” “Memory,” “Don’t Look Back : The Legend of Orpheus,” and “Kimchi Family.”

Ep.1 trailer begins with Jung Woo stating “What does it feel like to have no memory? On the one hand, I envy you, because you don’t have any memory that you want to forget or erase. Memory is wicked.” The trailer shows Yook Dong-Joo (Jung Woo) possessing a novel manuscript titled “God is Dead” and he publishes the novel under his name. The novel becomes a best seller, but he didn’t write it. Around the 10 second mark of the trailer Detective Park Hyun-Soo (Park Yoo-Rim) asks Yook Dong-Joo “How did you write this novel? Are you sure you really wrote the novel?” Because the murder in the novel happens in real life, Detective Park Hyun-Soo targets Yook Dong-Jo as the prime suspect.

“Miraculous Brothers” first airs June 28, 2023 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “My Lovely Liar” starring Kim So-Hyun and Minhyun. The teaser trailer begins with Kim So-Hyun as Mok Sol-Hee asks “Who is the person who requested for me?,” an anonymous voice then asks “Liar hunter?,” and Kim So-Hyun replies “I can distinguish whether people are lying or not.” The character of Mok Sol-Hee has a special ability to discern whether people are lying. Teaser poster & release date set for Netflix drama “D.P. Season 2”

Teaser poster and July 28, 2023 release date set for Netflix drama series “D.P. Season 2” starring Jung Hae-In, Koo Gyo-Hwan, & Kim Sung-Kyun. The drama series is a sequel to 2021 Netflix drama series “D.P. ” with the main cast from season 1 returning for the new season. The teaser poster is connected with the last scene from ep.6 of “D.P.” where soldier Kim Ru-Ri (Moon Sang-Hoon) takes his rifle and shoots at his superiors who bullied him. The teaser poster shows Kim Ru-Ri’s bloody locker and hints that reality hasn’t changed much for the soldiers. An Jun-Ho (Jung Hae-In) and Han Ho-Yeol (Koo Gyo-Hwan) still work together to catch military deserters in this environment.
