Ryusei Fujii is cast in TV Asahi live-action drama series “18-sai, Niizuma, Furin Shimasu.” The drama series is based on the manga series of same name by Shiho Watanabe. In “18-sai, Niizuma, Furin Shimasu,” Ryusei Fujii will play Ko Fujimiya. He is a trusted employee of a wealthy conglomerate family. Following the wishes of the daughter from the conglomerate family, he enters into a fake marriage with her.

Alice Hirose and Shunsuke Michieda are cast in TBS drama series “My Second Aoharu.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Ayako Kitagawa (“The Fate, I Will Deliver: True Story of Mercari“). For “My Second Aoharu,” Alice Hirose will play 30 year old Sayako Shiratama. In her past she repeatedly failed her university entrance exam and finally gave up on her dream of becoming an architect. She meets university student Taku Ogasawara (Shunsuke Michieda) who inspires her to try again.

Movie is a sequel to 2016 NTV drama series “We’re Millennials Got a Problem?” Just announced to appear in the movie version in supporting roles are Haruka Kinami, Mitsuo Yoshihara, Moka Kamishiraishi, & Seishiro Kato. Eiko Koike is cast in NTV drama series “Kotatsu ga Nai Ie.” The drama series is setup as family-comedy and is scripted by Shigeki Kaneko (“Life’s Punchline“) and directed by Satoru Nakajima (“RemoteLove“) & Syunpei Maruya (“RemoteLove“). The drama series is also the first starring role for Eiko Koike in a prime time series. For “Kotatsu ga Nai Ie,” Eiko Koike will play successful wedding planner Marie Fukabori. Although she is successful at work, at home she is surrounded by three loser males at home.

Kim Woo-Bin and Kim Sung-Kyun are cast in Netflix movie “Officer Black Belt.” The film is an action-comedy and will be directed by Kim Joo-Hwan (“Bloodhounds“). In the film Kim Woo-Bin will play a young man gifted in the martial arts. Through unexpected circumstances he is paired with probation officer Kim Sun-Min played by Kim Sung-Kyun. His job is that of a martial arts officer, whose duties include to help the probation officer when in dangerous situation and prevent crimes by probationers.

Takeru Satoh, Masami Nagasawa, & Nana Mori are cast in movie “Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa.” The film is based on 2016 novel “Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa” by Genki Kawamura (“If Cats Disappeared From the World“). The romance screenplay revolves around Psychiatrist Shun Fujishiro (Takeru Satoh) who seeks to find his fiance who has disappeared. Filming for “Shigatsu ni Nareba Kanojo wa” is currently underway and will be filmed in Japan, Bolivia, Czech Republic, and Iceland.
