Ep.1 trailer for JTBC drama “Miraculous Brothers”

Ep.1 trailer added for JTBC drama series “Miraculous Brothers” starring Jung Woo & Bae Hyun-Sung. The drama series is directed by Park Chan-Hong and scripted by Kim Ji-Woo, who have worked together on such drama series as “Beautiful World,” “Memory,” “Don’t Look Back : The Legend of Orpheus,” and “Kimchi Family.”

Ep.1 trailer begins with Jung Woo stating “What does it feel like to have no memory? On the one hand, I envy you, because you don’t have any memory that you want to forget or erase. Memory is wicked.” The trailer shows Yook Dong-Joo (Jung Woo) possessing a novel manuscript titled “God is Dead” and he publishes the novel under his name. The novel becomes a best seller, but he didn’t write it. Around the 10 second mark of the trailer Detective Park Hyun-Soo (Park Yoo-Rim) asks Yook Dong-Joo “How did you write this novel? Are you sure you really wrote the novel?” Because the murder in the novel happens in real life, Detective Park Hyun-Soo targets Yook Dong-Jo as the prime suspect.

“Miraculous Brothers” first airs June 28, 2023 in South Korea.

First teaser trailer for tvN drama series “My Lovely Liar” starring Kim So-Hyun and Minhyun. The teaser trailer begins with Kim So-Hyun as Mok Sol-Hee asks “Who is the person who requested for me?,” an anonymous voice then asks “Liar hunter?,” and Kim So-Hyun replies “I can distinguish whether people are lying or not.” The character of Mok Sol-Hee has a special ability to discern whether people are lying. Meanwhile, above are character posters of Kim So-Hyun and Minhyun as Kim Do-Ha. Caption on Minhyun’s character poster states “You don’t know my truth. Genius composer who has a secret that I can’t tell anyone.”

First teaser trailer added for ENA drama series “Not Others” starring Jeon Hye-Jin & Sooyoung. The drama series is based on webcomic “Namnam” by Jung Young-Rong and features Jeon Hye-Jin and Sooyoung playing mother and daughter who live together. The first teaser trailer begins with Sooyoung as Jin-Hee stating “I saw the most shocking thing in my life. Have you’ve ever seen your mother doing …?”

“Not Others” will first air July 17, 2023 in South Korea (takes over ENA’s Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot after “Lies Hidden In My Garden“).

English subtitled trailer and poster added for Netflix live-action drama series “Burn the House Down” starring Mei Nagano and Kyoka Suzuki. The drama series is based on manga series “Mitarai ke, Enjou Suru” by Moyashi Fujisawa and directed by Yuichiro Hirakawa (“Jin“). The trailer begins with the home of Anzu Murata’s (Mei Nagano) family engulfed in flames. This changes Anzu Murata’s life completely.

Teaser poster & release date set for Netflix drama “D.P. Season 2”

Teaser poster and July 28, 2023 release date set for Netflix drama series “D.P. Season 2” starring Jung Hae-In, Koo Gyo-Hwan, & Kim Sung-Kyun. The drama series is a sequel to 2021 Netflix drama series “D.P. ” with the main cast from season 1 returning for the new season. The teaser poster is connected with the last scene from ep.6 of “D.P.” where soldier Kim Ru-Ri (Moon Sang-Hoon) takes his rifle and shoots at his superiors who bullied him. The teaser poster shows Kim Ru-Ri’s bloody locker and hints that reality hasn’t changed much for the soldiers. An Jun-Ho (Jung Hae-In) and Han Ho-Yeol (Koo Gyo-Hwan) still work together to catch military deserters in this environment.

Trailer and poster added for Disney+ drama series “Shadow Detective 2” starring Lee Sung-Min, Kyung Soo-Jin, and Lee Hak-Joo. The drama series is a sequel to “Shadow Detective” which premiered on Disney+ in 2022. The trailer has Lee Sung-Min as Detective Kim Taek-Rok stating around the 22 second mark “Friend is not one. I must find the way to win this brutal game” and then around 1:21 minute mark “I will catch you no matter what.” Captions in the trailer states (0:17) “Mysterious explosion accident,” (0:34) “Mysterious murder case,” (0:56) “I can’t trust anyone,” (1:08) “Toward a hidden enemy,” (1:13) “Counterattack begins.”

Trailer and poster for movie “The Forbidden Play”

Trailer and poster added for movie “The Forbidden Play” starring Kanna Hashimoto and Daiki Shigeoka. The movie is based on 2019 novel “Kinjirareta Asobi” by Karma Shimizu and directed by Hideo Nakata (“Sadako“). “The Forbidden Play” is a horror film, centered around a family who deals with the sudden death of the mother. The son buries the mother’s finger in their yard and begins to chant a strange spell in hopes of bringing her back to life.

“The Forbidden Play” will be released September 8, 2023 in Japan.

Ji Chang-Wook and Shin Hye-Sun cast in JTBC drama “Welcome to Samdalri”

Ji Chang-Wook and Shin Hye-Sun are cast in JTBC drama series “Welcome to Samdalri” (literal title). The drama series features an original screenplay by Kwon Hye-Joo (“Hi Bye Mama“) and directed by Cha Young-Hoon (“Forecasting Love and Weather“). Story for “Welcome to Samdalri” is set in the town of Samdalri on Jeju Island. Ji Chang-Wook will play Jo Yong-Pil. He works as a weather forecaster and was born and raised in Samdalri. Shin Hye-Sun will play popular photographer Jo Sam-Dal. She returns to her hometown of Samdalri and meets Jo Yong-Pil again.

“Welcome to Samdalri” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Teaser trailer and poster added for movie “Smugglers” starring Kim Hye-Soo, Yum Jung-Ah, & Zo In-Sung. Movie is directed by Ryoo Seung-Wan (“Escape from Mogadishu“). The maritime crime-action film, set in the 1970’s, follows a team of smugglers who uses the sea to make money.
