Alice Hirose and Shunsuke Michieda are cast in TBS drama series “My Second Aoharu.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Ayako Kitagawa (“The Fate, I Will Deliver: True Story of Mercari“). For “My Second Aoharu,” Alice Hirose will play 30 year old Sayako Shiratama. In her past she repeatedly failed her university entrance exam and finally gave up on her dream of becoming an architect. She meets university student Taku Ogasawara (Shunsuke Michieda) who inspires her to try again.
“My Second Aoharu” will first airs October, 2023 in Japan (takes over TBS’ Tuesdays 10PM time slot after “18/40: Unbreakable Bond of Dreams“).
Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Sayako Shiratama (Alice Hirose) has never experienced much good luck. Since she was a child, she dreamed of becoming an architect. She studied hard, but she repeatedly failed her university entrance exams. Now, she is 30 years old and works in a field far away from her ideal job. One day, she happens to meet mysterious university student Taku Ogasawara (Shunsuke Michieda). She tells him about her past dream of becoming an architect. Taku Ogasawara tells her that it is never too late and that she can still get accepted into a university. Inspired by their talk, Sayako Shiratama decides to study once again for her university entrance exams. After she studies so hard, she finally gets accepted into a university. There, Sayako Shiratama meets Taku Ogasawara again, who is a senior in the architecture department.
