Shota Watanabe is cast for the lead role in NTV live-action drama series “Sensei Sayounara.”

Shota Watanabe is cast for the lead role in NTV live-action drama series “Sensei Sayounara.” The drama series is based on manga series “Sensei Sayounara” by Yasuko (“Southern Beach Love Story“). Shota Watanabe, who is a member of boy band Snow Man, will play high school teacher Takuro Tamura. The screenplay will depict a love story that takes place in the present day and also when Takuro Tamura was a high school student. Meanwhile, the theme song for the drama series has been revealed as “We’ll Go Together” by Snow Man.

“Sensei Sayounara” will first air January, 2024 in Japan.

Teaser trailers and posters added for ENA drama series “Flowers Bloom in the Sand” starring Jang Dong-Yoon and Lee Joo-Myoung. Narration in the first teaser trailer (15 seconds length) has Jang Dong-Yoon stating “Today this game might be the last game of my life” and the second teaser trailer (30 seconds length) starts with an anonymous voice stating “Baek-Doo, you must become the champion later” and followed by Jang Dong-Yoon stating “Today this game might be the last game of my life.” The drama series revolves around the sport of ssireum (Korean wrestling).

Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun cast in SBS drama “Chaebol X Detective”

Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun are cast for lead roles in SBS drama series “Chaebol X Detective.” The drama series features an original screenplay by Kim Ba-Da (“My Name“) and reunites Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun, who previously worked together in TVING drama series “Yumi’s Cells” and “Yumi’s Cells S2.” In “Chaebol X Detective,” Ahn Bo-Hyun and Park Ji-Hyun will play detectives who begin to work as partners. Ahn Bo-Hyun’s Jin Yi-Soo comes a from a wealthy chaebol family and he enjoys to have fun. Park Ji-Hyun’s Lee Gang-Hyun is a veteran detective and a geek when it comes to working on cases.

“Chaebol X Detective” first airs January, 2024 in South Korea.

Hikaru Iwamoto and Mai Shiraishi are cast in TV Asahi drama series “Koisuru Keigo 24 Ji.” The drama series is scripted by Arisa Kaneko (“An Incurable Case of Love“) and features an action romantic-comedy story about a bodyguard and a lawyer. The theme song for the drama series has also been announced as “Love Trigger” by boy band Snow Man, which includes Hikaru Iwamoto as a member.

Teaser trailer and poster for Disney+ drama “Soundtrack #2”

New teaser trailer and teaser poster added for Disney+ drama series “Soundtrack #2” starring Keum Sae-Rok, Noh Sang-Hyun, & Sohn Jeong-Hyuck. The drama series is a sequel to 2022 Disney+ drama series “Soundtrack 1,” but with different characters and a new story. Caption on the teaser poster states “Before: That man of 4 years ago” and “Now: This man next to me.”

The teaser trailer begins with Do Hyun-Seo (Keum Sae-Rok) and Ji Soo-Ho (Noh Sang-Hyun) meeting as piano instructor and student who signed up for lessons. Fumi Nikaido & Chae Jong-Hyeop cast in TBS drama series “Eye Love You”

Fumi Nikaido & Chae Jong-Hyeop are cast in TBS drama series “Eye Love You.” The drama series marks the first time South Korean actor Chae Jong-Hyeop will perform in a Japanese drama series. The fantasy/romantic-comedy script will have Fumi Nikaido play Yuri Motomiya. She has a special ability that allows her to hear other people’s secret thoughts when she looks into their eyes. She has shut herself away from other people because of her special ability. Things change, when she meets Korean student Yoon Te-O. When she looks into his eyes, she hears his inner thoughts but she can’t understand them due to the different language. This gives her an idea.

“Eye Love You” will first air January, 2024 in Japan (takes over TBS‘ Tuesday 10PM time slot after “My Second Aoharu“).
