Kim You-Jung cast in KBS2 drama series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds”

Kim You-Jung is cast for lead female role in upcoming KBS2 period drama series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” also starring Park Bo-Gum and Yook Sung-Jae (‘BTOB’).

In drama series “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds,” Kim You-Jung will play Hong Ra-On. To make money, she disguises herself as a man and later enters the palace as a eunuch. Hong Ra-On and Crown Prince Lee Young (Park Bo-Gum) develop a friendship and romantic relationship. A love triangle occurs with Kim Yoon-Sung (Yook Sung-Jae).

“Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” first airs August 1, 2016 in South Korea.

Kang Ha-Neul offered lead role in drama series “Gaia”

Actor Kang Ha-Neul has been offered the lead male role in upcoming drama series “Gaia.” Story for the drama series involves a plane crash on a island. A passenger on the plane is a male idol group member with a feisty personality which would be played by Kang Ha-Neul if he accepts and the other lead character is scripted as an ordinary woman. Currenty, Kang Ha-Neul is “positively considering” the offer.

In addition, MBC is currently in negotiations to air the drama series. If MBC agrees to air the drama series, “Gaia” will air Mondays & Tuesdays 10PM from September 19, 2016 (taking over the time slot currently held by “Monster“). Screenplay for the drama is scripted by Song Ji-Na (“Faith“/”Healer“).

Yoon Kye-Sang cast in tvN drama series “The Good Wife”

Yoon Kye-Sang is now cast in upcoming tvN drama series “The Good Wife” also starring Jeon Do-Yeon and Yoo Ji-Tae. The drama series is a remake of U.S. TV series “The Good Wife.”

In drama series “The Good Wife,” Yoon Kye-Sang will play Seo Joong-Won. Seo Joong-Won is a supporter of Kim Hye-Kyung (Jeon Do-Yeon) and helps her become a true lawyer. Seo Joong-Won is also the co-CEO of a law firm. His character is gentle, well groomed and sometimes makes biting remarks. He is kind to his clients, but does not trust his clients completely.

“The Good Wife” first airs July, 2016 in South Korea.

Minah cast in SBS drama series “The Beauty of the Beast”

Minah from idol group “Girl’s Day” is cast in SBS weekend drama series “The Beauty of the Beast” (literal title) also starring Namgung Min. Actress Oh Hyun-Kyung is also cast in a supporting role in the drama series.

In drama series “The Beauty of the Beast,” Minah will play Kong-Sim. Her character has a warm heart, but her older sister has everything including beautiful appearance. The drama series will revolve around the two sisters and two men. One of the men lives on a rooftop apartment and presumably poor, while the other man comes from a wealthy family. Casting for the older sister and the other main character has yet to be announced.

“The Beauty of the Beast” first airs May 14, 2016 in South Korea (takes over the time slot currently occupied by (“Mrs. Cop 2“).

First still images of Hyeri and Kang Min-Hyuk in SBS drama series “Entertainer”

Here’s the first still images of Hyeri (‘Girl’s Day’) and Kang Min-Hyuk (‘CNBLUE’) in upcoming SBS drama series “Entertainer” also starring Ji Sung. The still images are from a scene that was filmed recently in Busan, South Korea. In the drama series, Hyeri and Kang Min-Hyuk play older sister and younger brother.

Filming for KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond” finishes

Filming for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Uncontrollably Fond” starring Kim Woo-Bin and Bae Suzy finishes tomorrow April 12, 2016. Actor Kim Woo-Bin actually finished filming his scenes last week. Filming for the drama series took about 4 and half months to complete. In addition, ep.1 air date for “Uncontrollably Fond” is still on target for July 6, 2016 in South Korea. The drama series will air Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10PM taking over the time slot held by “The Master of Revenge” (literal title “Master: God of Noodles”).

First still image of Yoon Si-Yoon in JTBC drama series “Mirror of the Witch”

Here’s the first still images of Yoon Si-Yoon in JTBC drama series “Mirror of the Witch” also starring Kim Sae-Ron.

The still images were taken from a shooting that took place April 4, 2016 on Jeju island. Setup for the scene has Heo Jun (Yoon Si-Yoon) wandering in a black forest. Heo Jun is smart and excels in sword fighting. Due to his social position (his mother is a concubine), he can’t take an exam to become a public officer. He helps others in difficult situations and he has a boiling blood dream to take revenge on the world.
