Namgung Min cast in SBS drama series “The Beauty of the Beast”

Namgung Min is cast in upcoming SBS drama series “The Beauty of the Beast” (literal title). Early working title was “Yasoowa Minyeo” (literally “The Beauty and the Beast”). Meanwhile, actress Baek Jin-Hee has been offered the lead female role and she is currently “positively considering” the offer.

In drama series “The Beauty of the Beast,” Namgung Min plays main character Ahn Dan-Tae. His character fights well and he gets wrongly accused of crime that leads him to jail. After he is released, he eventually becomes a human rights attorney and the successor of a major corporation. This is Namgung Min first lead acting role for a major broadcasting station.

“The Beauty of the Beast” first airs May 14, 2016 in South Korea (takes over the Saturday and Sunday 10PM time slot after “Mrs. Cop 2”).

Ryoo Joon-Yeol cast in MBC drama series “Lucky Romance”

Ryoo Joon-Yeol is cast in upcoming MBC drama series “Lucky Romance” also starring Hwang Jung-Eum.

In drama series “Lucky Romance,” Ryoo Joon-Yeol will play lead male character Je Soo-Ho. He works as the CTO of a gaming company. His beliefs are firmly based in science, while his main counterpart Sim Bo-Nui (Hwang Jung-Eum) is a fan of fortune-telling. This will be Ryoo Joon-Yeol’s first lead acting role for a major broadcasting company.

“Lucky Romance” first airs May 11, 2016 in South Korea.

Kang Min-Hyuk cast in SBS drama sereis “Entertainer”

Kang Min-Hyuk from Kpop group ‘CNBLUE’ is now cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Entertainer” starring Ji Sung and Hye-Ri from ‘Girl’s Day.’ Cast in supporting roles are Chae Jung-An, Jeong Man-Sik and L.Joe (‘TEEN TOP’).

In drama series “Entertainer,” Kang Min-Hyuk will play Jo Ha-Neul. His character is the vocalist from music group Ddanddara which includes a band member played by L.Joe. His character is also the younger brother of Jung Geu-Rin (Hyeri). He experiences a turning point in his life when he meets Shin Suk-Ho (Ji Sung).

“Entertainer” first airs April 20, 2016 in South Korea.

2nd teaser trailer and new teaser poster added for upcoming MBC drama series “Monster” starring Kang Ji-Hwan, Sung Yu-Ri, Park Ki-Woong & Soo-Hyun. The new teaser poster features (left to right) Jo Bo-Ah, Soo-Hyun, Kang Ji-Hwan, Sung Yu-Ri, Park Ki-Woong & Jin Tae-Hyun.

“Monster” first airs March 28, 2016 in South Korea (takes over the Mondays & Tuesdays 10PM time slot currently held by “Glamorous Temptation“).

Hyeri cast in SBS drama series “Entertainer”

Hyeri from Kpop group “Girl’s Day” is cast for the lead female role in upcoming SBS drama series “Entertainer” co-starring actor Ji Sung. Actress Chae Jung-An and actor Jeong Man-Sik are already cast for supporting roles.

In drama series “Entertainer,” Hyeri will play Jung Geu-Rin. Her character is in her early 20’s and busy working part-time jobs. She is protective of her younger brother Jo Ha-Neul and only cares about his happiness. Jo Ha-Neul is the lead vocalist for music group “Ddanddara” which was formed by Shin Suk-Ho  (Ji Sung). Jo Ha-Neul’s character has been offered to Kang Min-Hyuk from ‘CNBLUE’ and he is currently considering the offer positively.

“Entertainer” first airs April 20, 2016 in South Korea (takes over the time slot currently held by “Come Back Mister“).
