Teaser trailer for SBS drama series “Entertainer”

First teaser trailer added for upcoming SBS drama series “Entertainer” starring Ji Sung & Hyeri (‘Girls Day’).

Meanwhile photo above is from Hyeri’s Instagram account (hyeri_0609). She posted the picture of herself holding up the script book for “Entertainer” with the caption “Ddanddara#Geu-Rin#Hye-Ri.”

“Entertainer” will first air April 20, 2016 in South Korea.

Kim Rae-Won & Park Shin-Hye cast in SBS drama series “Doctors”

According to SBS, Kim Rae-Won and Park Shin-Hye are now cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Doctors.” Early working title for the drama series was “Yeoggangpae Hyejung” (“Female Gangster Hye-Jung”).

In SBS drama series “Doctors,” Kim Rae-Won will play Honh Ji-Hong. He is a neurosurgeon with intellect and affinity. He is also a realist. Park Shin-Hye will play Hye-Jung. Her character grew up as a troubled child and frequently got into fights. She was also very good in those fights. Hye-Jung is now a smart woman who has brought herself up to become a doctor.

“Doctors” first airs June 20, 2016 in South Korea.

KBS2 to air a three-part special of “Descendants of the Sun”

KBS2 will air a three-part special of popular drama series “Descendants of the Sun” starring Song Joong-Ki & Song Hye-Ko. The special will air on April 20th, 21st and 22nd in South Korea. The special will feature highlight clips from the drama series on April 20th and 21st. The April 22nd episode will feature making of video clips from the drama series and an epilogue clip from the drama series.

“Descendants of the Sun” is currently the #1 rated television show during its prime time slot with ratings topping 30% the past two weeks. The three part special of “Descendants of the Sun” will push back the premiere of “Master: God of Noodles” to April 27, 2016 (from April 20, 2016) and the premiere of “Uncontrollably Fond” to July 6, 2016  (from June 29, 2016).

Joo Won cast in drama series “My Sassy Girl”

Actor Joo Won is cast in upcoming drama series “My Sassy Girl.” The drama series is based on popular 2001 romantic-comedy film “My Sassy Girl,” but set in a historical time period. The drama series is also expected to be Joo Won’s final acting role prior to enlisting in the South Korean military for approximately 21 months.

Filming for drama series “My Sassy Girl” will begin July, 2016, but it’s not yet determined which network will air the drama series. The drama series will also air in China and Japan at the same time frame.

Gong Myung, Lee Tae-Sun, L.Joe cast in SBS drama series “Entertainer”

Gong Myung, Lee Tae-Sun & L.Joe (‘TEEN TOP’) are cast in supporting roles for upcoming SBS drama series “Entertainer” starring Ji Sung & Hyeri.

The three performers will play members of fictitious music group ‘Ddanddara’ along with Kang Min-Hyuk (‘CNBLUE’). The band is formed by Shin Suk-Ho (Ji Sung).

For the drama series, Kang Min-Hyuk will play the vocalist of the band Jo Ha-Neul. His character is the younger brother of Jung Geu-Rin (Hyeri).

Gong Myung will play Kayle. His character is the guitarist of the band and graduated from Juilliard School.

L.Joe will play Seo Jae-Hoon. His character is the drummer of the band. He first took up the drums just to place it onto his resume, but he takes an interest in the drums. He is a student from a prestigious university.

Lee Tae-Sun will play Na Yeon-Soo. His character is the bassist of the band. Na Yeon-Soo is also a single father of a 5-year-old son.

“Entertainer” will first air April 20, 2016 in South Korea.

Yoon Kye-Sang offered co-lead role in tvN drama series “The Good Wife”

Actor Yoon Kye-Sang has been offered a co-lead role in upcoming tvN drama series “The Good Wife” also starring Jeon Do-Yeon and Yoo Ji-Tae. The drama series is a remake of U.S. television series “The Good Wife.” Yoon Kye-Sang is currently “positively considering” the offer.

If Yoon Kye-Sang accepts his offer, he will play Seo Joong-Won. His character is a friend of Kim Hye-Kyung (Jeon Do-Yeon) and the president of a law firm. Even though Kim Hye-Kyung and Seo Joong-Won are friends, they have feelings for each other.

“The Good Wife” first airs sometime this July in South Korea.
