Actress Kim Hyun-Joo has been offered the lead female role in SBS drama series “Wanted.” Currently, Kim Hyun-Joo is “positively considering” the offer. If she accepts the offer, she will play a woman who is one of the top actresses in South Korea. Her son gets kidnapped and she takes on a mission in a reality TV show following the orders of her son’s kidnapper.
Drama series “Wanted” will air from June 15, 2016 in South Korea (takes over the SBS Wed. & Thurs. 10PM time slot from “Entertainer“).
Gang Ye-Won is cast in new 4 episode KBS2 drama series “Baek-Hee Has Returned” (literal title). In addition, teen actress Jin Ji-Hee is currently considering an offer to play a major supporting character in the drama series. For the upcoming drama series, Gang Ye-Won will play a woman who returns to a quiet island after 18 years. She appears there under a new identity.
“Baek-Hee Has Returned” will first air June 6, 2016 (takes over the KBS2 Monday and Tuesday 10PM time slot from “My Lawyer, Mr. Jo“).
Ji Jin-Hee is cast in upcoming SBS drama series “Second To Last Love.” The drama series is a remake of 2012 Fuji TV drama series “Second To Last Love.”
In the drama series, Ji Jin-Hee will play Ko Sang-Sik. His character works as the section chief at an environment facility in city hall. He gets involved in a relationship with TV producer Kang Min-Joo. At first they don’t get along well, but develop romantic interest in each other.
“Second To Last Love” first airs this July in South Korea.

Actress Kim So-Hyun is cast in new tvN drama series “Let’s Fight Ghost” (literal title). The drama series is based on webcomic “Ssawooja Gwishina” by Im In-Seu.
In drama series “Let’s Fight Ghost,” Kim So-Hyun plays a a former 19-year-old student who died and is now a ghost wandering the world. She then meets an exorcist. The two listen to stories from other ghosts and sends them on their way to the next world.
“Let’s Fight Ghost” first airs this July in South Korea.
Jang Hyuk, Yoon Hyun-Min & Park Se-Young are all cast in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Beautiful Mind.” Jang Hyuk will portray lead male character Lee Young-O. Yoon Hyun-Min and Park Se-Young will portray major supporting characters. Meanwhile, actress Park So-Dam is currently an offer to play the lead female role. The drama series went under the early working title of “Dr. Frankenstein.”
In the drama series, Lee Young-O (Jang Hyuk) is an excellent neurosurgeon. He becomes involved in a bizarre case involving the death of patients. He also falls in love and recovers his humanity. Yoon Hyun-Min will play Hyun Suk-Joo. His character is a doctor with a warm heart. He is respected by his peers and patients. Park Se-Young will play Kim Min-Jae. Her character is an elite doctor at the same hospital. They will all attend the first script reading which is scheduled to take place April 28, 2016.
