Lee Joon-Ho and Won Jin-A cast in JTBC drama series “Just Between Lovers”

Lee Joon-Ho (‘2PM’) and Won Jin-A are cast for the lead roles in new JTBC drama series “Just Between Lovers” (literal title). The drama series will be directed by Kim Jin-Won (“The Innocent Man“)and scripted by Yoo Bo-Ra (“Secret Love“).

In the drama series, Lee Joon-Ho plays a man who dreamed of becoming a soccer player, but an accident ended those dreams. He meets a woman played by Won Jin-A who survived a fatal accident. Won Jin-A landed her role after going through auditions with 120 other participants.

“Just Between Lovers” first airs in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Choi Si-Won and Kang So-Ra cast in tvN drama series “Byun Hyuk’s Love”

Choi Si-Won (‘Super Junior’) and Kang So-Ra are cast for lead roles in tvN drama series “Byun Hyuk’s Love.” The drama series will be Choi Si-Won’s first acting role since being discharged from the military on August 18, 2017. Story for the drama series will have Choi Si-Won playing title character Byun Hyuk. Although he is wealthy, he begins living in a studio apartment in a poor area. Baek Joon (Kang So-Ra) also lives in the area. She works part-time jobs to pay her bills, even though she graduated from a good university. Her life changes when Baek Joon appears.

Jung Ryeo-Won offered lead role in KBS2 drama series “Don’t Believe Her”

Jung Ryeo-Won has received an offer to play the lead female role in new KBS2 drama series “Don’t Believe Her” (literal title). Currently, Jung Ryeo-Won is “positively considering” the offer. If she accepts, Jung Ryeo-Won will play Ma Yi-Deum. She has worked as a prosecutor for the past 7 years and receives a transfer to a special division dealing with sex crimes.

Main poster added for upcoming Naver TV Cast-JTBC web drama series “Somehow 18” starring Minho (‘SHINee’) and Lee Yoo-Bi. In the web drama series, Minho plays Oh Kyung-Whee. He is an attractive resident in orthopedics, but, back in his high school days, Oh Kyung-Whee was bullied. Lee You-Jin cast in JTBC drama series “Age of Youth Season 2”

Lee You-Jin is cast in upcoming JTBC drama series “Age of Youth Season 2.” He replaces Onew who dropped out of the drama series after being accused of sexual assault at a nightclub recently. Lee You-Jin will play the character of Kwon Ho-Chang. Kwon Ho-Chang has never had a girlfriend and is intelligent. He gets involved with Jung Ye-Eun (Han Seung-Yeon) romantically. Lee You-Jin will begin filming his scenes next week.

Seo Young-Joo, Lee Jong-Hyun and Yeo Hoi-Hyeon cast in KBS2 drama series “Girls’ Generation 1979”

Seo Young-Joo, Lee Jong-Hyun (‘CNBLUE’) and Yeo Hoi-Hyeon are cast in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Girls’ Generation 1979” (English title). Already cast for the lead female roles are Bona (‘WJSN’) and Chae Seo-Jin. Story for the drama series is set in the 1970’s and in the city of Daegu.

For the drama series Seo Young-Joo will play Bae Dong-Moon. He has a kind personality and has liked Jung-Hee (Bona) for a long time. CNBLUE’s Lee Jong-Hyun will play Joo Young-Choon. He works at a pharmacy doing chores. He doesn’t have a goal in life and he supports his younger siblings. Yeo Hoi-Hyeon will play Son Jin. He is a smart and good looking high school student. He is popular with the girls.

First script reading for MBC drama series “20th Century Boy and Girl”

First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “20th Century Boy and Girl” took place July 11, 2017 at MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea. A second script reading took place August 1, 2017 at the same location. Attending the script reading were main cast members including Han Ye-Seul, Kim Ji-Suk, Lee Sang-Woo, Ryoo Hyoun-Kyoung, Oh Sang-Jin and Kang Mi-Na (‘Gugudan’). Story for the drama series will follow three 35-year-old women who grew up in the same neighborhood. Han Ye-Seul plays lead female character Sa Jin-Jin. She is a former idol, now actress. Kim Ji-Suk plays Gong Ji-Won. He is a professional investor. Lee Sang-Woo plays An So-Ni. He is a former idol, but now an actor.

Nana offered lead female role in drama series “Four Men”

Nana from idol group ‘After School’ has been offered the lead female role in upcoming drama series “Four Men” starring Park Hae-Jin. Currently, Nana (also known under her full name of Im Jin-A) is currently “positively considering” the offer. If she accepts, Nana will play the character of Yeo-Rin. She works as a detective. After Yeo-Rin lost the man whom she loved, she digs up a secret. She happens to meet a man who looks just like the man she loved. Meanwhile, Park Hae-Jin will play 4 different characters in the drama series.

“Four Men” will air sometime during the first half of next year in South Korea.

Onew drops out of JTBC drama series “Age of Youth Season 2”

Onew from idol group “SHINee” has dropped out of currently filming JTBC drama series “Age of Youth Season 2.” He was recently accused of sexual harassment by woman at a nightclub who insisted he touched her inappropriately on August 12, 2017, but she later dropped the charges against him. For the drama series, Onew was cast to play the character of Kwon Ho-Change. The character has never had a girlfriend and he is smart. Kwon Ho-Change also has a hard time communicating because of his autism. Staff from “Age of Youth Season 2” will now search for an actor to replace Onew.
