Teaser trailer for movie “Memoir of a Murderer”

Teaser trailer for movie “Memoir of a Murderer” starring Sol Kyung-Gu, Kim Nam-Gil and Seol Hyun (‘AOA’). Movie is based on 2013 novel “Salinjaui Gieokbeob” by Kim Young-Ha and directed by Won Shin-Yeon (“The Suspect“). The unique story for “Memoir of a Murderer” has Sol Kyung-Gu playing a reformed serial killer, but he is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He must protect his daughter (Seol Hyun) from another serial killer (Kim Nam-Gil), while his memory deteriorates.

“Memoir of a Murderer” opens September, 2017 in South Korea.

Yang Dong-Geun and Park Han-Byul cast in MBC drama series “Borg Mom”

Yang Dong-Geun and Park Han-Byul are cast for lead roles in upcoming MBC drama series “Borg Mom.” Also cast in supporting roles are Choi Yeo-Jin, Hwang Bo-Ra, Ivy, Jung Yi-Rang, Choi Jung-Won and Kwon Hyun-Bin. The drama series will have Yang Dong-Geun playing AI developer Choi Go-Bong. His wife died 7 years earlier after giving birth to their son. After her death, Choi Go-Bong created a borg mom. His son then gets into a prestigious kindergarten and the borg mom must deal with the pretentious mothers at the school.

“Borg Mom” will first air sometime this September in South Korea.

Here’s a promotional photo of Jung Yong-Hwa(‘CNBLUE’) and Lee Yeon-Hee for upcoming JTBC drama series “The Package.” Filming for the drama series took place on location in France from September to October, 2016. Drama series has Lee Yeon-Hee playing tour guide Yoon So-So. The drama series will depict the stories of various travelers visiting France.

“The Package” first airs October, 2017 in South Korea.

Lee Jong-Hyun offered lead male role in KBS2 drama series “Lingerie Girls’ Generation”

Lee Jong-Hyun (‘CNBLUE’) has been offered the lead male role in upcoming KBS2 drama series “Lingerie Girls’ Generation” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2009 novel “Lanjeri Sonyeoshidae” by Kim Yong-Hee and also pairs director Hong Seok-Ku and screenwriter Yoon Kyung-Ah whom previously worked together in KBS2 drama series “Ms. Perfect.” Story for the drama series is set in the 1970’s in the city of Daegu, South Korea. The drama series will follow the growth of female high school students.

“Lingerie Girls’ Generation” will first air September 11, 2017.

Here’s a couple poster of Kim Jae-Joong (‘JYJ’) and Uee for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Manhole.” The drama series revolves around a man who uses a manhole to travel through time. The couple poster shows Bong Pil (Kim Jae-Joong) riding his bicycle towards Kang Soo-Jin (Uee) from the present days to the past. He has held a secret crush on her for the past 28 years.

Choi Gang-Hee and Lee Joon-Hyuk cast in JTBC drama special “Han Yeo-Reum’s Memory”

Choi Gang-Hee and Lee Joon-Hyuk are cast in JTBC drama special “Han Yeo-Reum’s Memory.” The drama special will consist of 2 episodes. In the drama special, Choi Gang-Hee will play radio program writer Han Yeo-Reum. She is single and in her 30’s. When she was younger, she was beautiful and popular with men, but she is now lonely. Lee Joon-Hyuk will play pop music columnist Park Hae-Joon.

Exact air date for “Han Yeo-Reum’s Memory” has yet to be decided.

Lee Min-Ki and Jung So-Min cast in tvN drama series “This Life Is Our First”

Lee Min-Ki and Jung So-Min are cast in upcoming tvN drama series “This Life Is Our First” (literal title). The duo will play main characters. For Lee Min-Ki, he will play Nam Se-Hee. He is a single man in his early 30’s and owns his own home. Jung So-Min will play Yoon Ji-Ho. She is also in her early 30’s, but she doesn’t own a home. She is going through some financial troubles, while Nam Se-Hee owes a lot on his mortgage. These two characters become housemates.

“This Life Is Our First” first airs October, 2017 in South Korea.

First script reading for MBC drama series “Man Who Sets the Table”

First script reading for upcoming MBC drama series “Man Who Sets the Table” starring On Joo-Wan and Sooyoung (“Girls’ Generation“) took place June, 2017. The first script reading featured main cast members On Joo-Wan, Sooyoung, Shim Hyung-Tak, Lee Il-Hwa, Seo Hyo-Rim, Park Jin-Woo, Kim Kap-Soo, and Kim Mi-Sook. Lee Si-Un also attended the first script reading as he will make a cameo appearance as the ex-boyfriend of Tae-Yang (Sooyoung). Filming for the drama series began shortly afterwards, with filming taking place in Guam at the end of June, 2017.

First still images of Kang Min-Hyuk in MBC drama series “Hospital Ship”

Here’s the first still images of images of Kang Min-Hyuk (‘CNBLUE’) in upcoming MBC drama series “Hospital Ship” co-starring Ha Ji-Won. In the drama series, Kang Min-Hyuk plays a public health doctor (a doctor who serves a rural area without doctors instead of serving in the military). His character has a warm heart and he grows up as a doctor after he meets Song Eun-Jae (Ha Ji-Won). This is the first time Kang Min-Hyuk has portrayed a doctor. To prep for his role, he has visited hospitals and practiced with doctors. He also learned medical terms and other medical information to better portray his character.

Ep.1 of “Hospital Ship” will now air August 30, 2017 in South Korea.
