supporting cast added for KBS2 drama series “Indiscreetly Fondly”

Yu Oh-Seong, Jin Kyung, Jung Sun-Kyung and Choi Moo-Sung are cast in supporting roles for upcoming KBS2 drama series “Indiscreetly Fondly” (literal title). The drama series has already cast Kim Woo-Bin, Bae Suzy, Lim Ju-Hwan and Lim Ju-Eun in its lead roles.

In the drama series, actor Yu Oh-Seong will play Prosecutor Choi Hyun-Joon.  He looks like a righteous hot-blooded prosecutor, but he actually seeks power even if it requires injustice. Actress Jin Kyung will play Shin Young-Ok. Her character is the mother of Shin Joon-Young (Kim Woo-Bin). Actress Jung Sun-Kyung will play Lee Eun-Soo. She is the wife of Prosecutor Choi Hyun-Joon and comes from a wealthy family. Actor Choi Moo-Sung will play Jang Jung-Sik. He runs a restaurant with Shin Young-Ok.

“Indiscreetly Fondly” first airs sometime next year in South Korea.

First teaser trailer for MBC drama special “Splash Splash Love”

First teaser trailer added for upcoming 2 episode MBC drama special “Splash Splash Love” starring Yoon Doo-Joon (‘B2ST’) & Kim Seul-Gi. The drama special tells the story of a high school girl with a special ability. She transports in time through a puddle on a rainy day and ends up in the Joseon era and comes face to face with the young King played by Yoo Doo-Joon.

“Splash Splash Love” airs December 6 and December 13, 2015 in South Korea.

Major winners include actor Kim Soo-Hyun taking home the Grand Prize for KBS2 drama series “The Producers,” tvN drama series “Misaeng” taking home 4 awards including Best Actor in a Mini Series for Lee Sung-Min and Kim Hee-Seon winning the Best Actress in Mini Series award for MBC drama series “Angry Mom.” The 4th Annual APAN Star Awards took place November 28, 2015 in Wonju, South Korea.

Cho Seung-Woo offered lead role in tvN drama series “Pied Piper”

Actor Cho Seung-Woo has been offered the lead role in upcoming tvN drama series “Pied Piper.” If he accepts the offer, Cho Seung-Woo will play Joo Sung-Chan. His character formally worked as a corporate negotiator, but now works as a negotiator at a police crisis negotiation team. The drama series will follow the police crisis negotiation team as they try to solve cases without using force. The drama series will be directed by Kim Hong-Sun and scripted by Ryoo Yong-Jae whom previously worked together in 2014 tvN drama series “Liar Game.” Cho Seung-Woo is currently “positively considering” the offer.

“Pied Piper” will first air March, 2016 in South Korea (taking over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 11PM time slot after “Cheese in the Trap”).
