Teaser trailer #5 for OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell”

Teaser trailer #5 added for OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell” (literal title) starring Im Si-Wan and Lee Dong-Wook. Teaser trailer #5 focuses on the character of Seo Moon-Zo played by Lee Dong-Wook. The drama series is based webcomic “Taineun Jiokida” by Kim Yong-Ki, but the character of Seo Moon-Zo is an original character in the drama series. Seo Moon-Zo works as a dentist and has a good reputation, but whether he is truly good or evil is quite ambiguous.

“Strangers From Hell” first airs August 31, 2019 in South Korea.

First script reading for OCN drama series “The Running Mates: Human Rights”

First script reading for OCN drama series “The Running Mates: Human Rights,” starring Lee Yo-Won, Choi Gwi-Hwa & Jang Hyun-Sung, took place June, 2019 in South Korea. The drama series is based on novel “Dalrineun Josagwan” by Song Shi-Woo and follows a team of human rights violation investigators. At the first script reading Lee Yo-Won, Choi Gwi-Hwa, Jang Hyun-Sung, Oh Mi-Hee, Kim Joo-Young, Lee Joo-Woo and Shim Ji-Ho all attended.

“The Running Mates: Human Rights” first airs September, 2019 (takes over OCN’s Wednesday & Thursday 11PM time slot after “Class of Lies.”).

tvN drama series “The Great Show” to air August, “Catch The Ghost” pushed back to October

Korean cable TV channel tvN has decided to air drama series “The Great Show” (literal title), starring Song Seung-Heon, from August 26, 2019 in its Monday & Tuesday 9:30 PM time slot. Originally, drama series “Catch The Ghost,” starring Moon Geun-Young & Kim Sun-Ho, was scheduled to take that slot, but “Catch The Ghost” has now been pushed back to October. The delay for “Catch The Ghost” was made to get better quality and a more stable production schedule for that drama series. Filming for “The Great Show” began April, 2019, allowing for the drama series to smoothly fit into its autumn schedule. “Catch The Ghost” is now scheduled to air from October 21, 2019, following “The Great Show.”

Sulli to make cameo appearance in tvN drama series “Hotel Del Luna”

Singer-actress Sulli (formerly of f(x)) is cast for a cameo appearance in currently airing tvN drama series “Hotel Del Luna.” Sulli took the cameo role, because she is close friends with lead actress IU. For Sulli, her cameo appearance is her first acting role in a drama series since she starred in 2012 SBS drama series “To The Beautiful You.” Sulli will appear in ep.10 of “Hotel Del Luna” which is scheduled to air Sunday, August 11, 2019. Her character description for “Hotel Del Luna” has yet to be revealed.

Two main posters and teaser trailer #2 added for MBN drama series “Graceful Family” (literal title) starring Lim Soo-Hyang, Lee Jang-Woo and Bae Jong-Ok. Shooting for the posters took place June 26, 2019. The poster above features main cast members Lim Soo-Hyang, Lee Jang-Woo, Bae Jong-Ok, Lee Gyu-Han, Kim Jin-Woo, Kong Hyun-Joo, Moon Hee-Kyung and Jung Won-Joong. The drama series centers around a love triangle between high school students and a cellphone app that notifies you if someone near you likes you. Caption on the teaser posters states “If you turn on the app, your mind rings.

“Love Alarm” is now set to first stream August 22, 2019 on Netflix.

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Catch The Ghost” starring Moon Geun-Young and Kim Sun-Ho. The teaser trailer begins with Moon Geun-Young’s narration stating “681 subway stations, 7.2 million users a day, the subway station is a place of everyday where various crimes are committed. I am a part of the subway police team, who are responsible for the safety of the riders.”
