Sulli to make cameo appearance in tvN drama series “Hotel Del Luna”

Singer-actress Sulli (formerly of f(x)) is cast for a cameo appearance in currently airing tvN drama series “Hotel Del Luna.” Sulli took the cameo role, because she is close friends with lead actress IU. For Sulli, her cameo appearance is her first acting role in a drama series since she starred in 2012 SBS drama series “To The Beautiful You.” Sulli will appear in ep.10 of “Hotel Del Luna” which is scheduled to air Sunday, August 11, 2019. Her character description for “Hotel Del Luna” has yet to be revealed.

Shooting for the posters took place June 26, 2019. Teaser trailer for tvN drama series “Catch The Ghost”

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Catch The Ghost” starring Moon Geun-Young and Kim Sun-Ho. The teaser trailer begins with Moon Geun-Young’s narration stating “681 subway stations, 7.2 million users a day, the subway station is a place of everyday where various crimes are committed. I am a part of the subway police team, who are responsible for the safety of the riders.”

Meanwhile, below are character cuts of the main cast in their subway police uniforms. The photos are of Moon Geun-Young as Yoo Ryung, Kim Sun-Ho as Ko Ji-Seok, Jung Eugene as Ha Ma-Ri, Ki Do-Hoon as Kim Woo-Hyeok, Jo Jae-Yun as Lee Man-Jin and Ahn Seung-Kyoon as Kang Soo-Ho.

Teaser trailer #4 for “Strangers From Hell”

Teaser trailer #4 added for OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell” (literal title) starring Im Si-Wan and Lee Dong-Wook. The teaser trailer shows Yoon Jong-Woo (Im Si-Wan) entering the boarding house where he will stay. Residents there look like strangers from Hell. At the 25 second mark of the trailer, caption appears that teases “Invite to the Apartment of Hell.” The drama series is based on webcomic “Taineun Jiokida” by Kim Yong-Ki.

Meanwhile, above and below are the first still images of Im Si-Wan from the drama series. The still images are of Yoon Jong-Woo as he moves to the cheap apartment house in Seoul. He is originally from a small city in Korea.

Lee Sun-Kyun & Jung Ryeo-Won cast in JTBC drama series “Inside Stories of Prosecutors”

Lee Sun-Kyun and Jung Ryeo-Won are cast in JTBC drama series “Inside Stories of Prosecutors” (literal title). The drama series is based on 2018 novel “Geomsanaejeon” by Kim Woong and directed by Lee Tae-Gon (“Hello, My Twenties!“). Story for the drama series will depict the lives of prosecutors who work like salarymen in the fictional city of Jinyoung. Lee Sun-Kyun will play Lee Sun-Woong, who works as a prosecutur in Jinyoung. Jung Ryeo-Won will play Cha Myung-Joo. She was a prosecutor in Seoul, but gets transferred to Jinyong.

“Inside Stories of Prosecutors” will first air sometime in late 2019 in South Korea.

Lee Dong-Hwi & Kim Byung-Chul cast in tvN drama series “Cheap Cheonrima Mart”

Lee Dong-Hwi & Kim Byung-Chul are cast in tvN drama series “Cheap Cheonrima Mart” (literal title). Also cast in the drama series in major supporting character roles are Park Ho-San, Lee Soon-Jae and Jung Hye-Sung. The drama series is based on webcomic “Ssabnida Cheonrimamateu” by Kim Kyu-Sam. For the drama series, Lee Dong-Hwi will play Moon Suk-Goo. He works as a manager at Cheonrima Mart, but the store is dying due to a lack of customers. Kim Byung-Chul will play Jung Bok-Dong. He becomes the CEO of Cheonrima Mart after being demoted from the store’s parent company. Park Ho-San will play Kwon Young-Goo. He is an executive at the store’s parent company. Lee Soon-Jae will play Kim Dae-Ma. He is the chairman of the store’s parent company. Lastly, Jung Hye-Sung will play Jo Mi-Ran. She is sent by the parent company to watch over the CEO at Cheonrima Mart.

“Cheap Cheonrima Mart” first airs September, 2019 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Friday 11 PM time slot).
