Teaser trailer #2 and two teaser posters for KBS2 drama series “I Wanna Hear Your Song” starring Yeon Woo-Jin and Kim Se-Jeong. Teaser trailer #2 still has Hong Yi-Young (Kim Se-Jeong) struggling to fall asleep. She then receives a phone call from a man (Yeon Woo-Jin) who asks “Would you like me to sing a song?”

Meanwhile, above and below are two teaser posters for the upcoming drama series. Caption on the first poster asks in Korean “Evening call? This man … who is he?” Caption on the second poster states “One sheep.. two sheep .. please somebody put me to sleep!”

Jo Yoon-Hee & Yoon Park cast in KBS2 drama series “Beautiful Love Wonderful Life”

Jo Yoon-Hee & Yoon Park are cast for leading roles in KBS2 weekend drama series “Beautiful Love Wonderful Life” (literal title). Oh Min-Suk and Jo Woo-Ri are also cast for major supporting character roles. In the drama series Jo Yoon-Hee will play a housewife. Yoon Park will play a chef. His younger sister (Jo Woo-Ri) works as a secretary for the husband (Oh Min-Suk) of Jo Yoon-Hee’s character.

“Beautiful Love Wonderful Life” first airs September, 2019 in South Korea (takes over KBS2’s Saturday & Sunday 19:55 after “Mother of Mine“).

Cho Jung-Seok cast in tvN drama series “Wise Doctor Life”

Cho Jung-Seok is cast in tvN drama series “Wise Doctor Life” (literal title). Cho Jung-Seok will play a co-lead male role in the drama series. Actors Yoo Yeon-Seok and Kim Dae-Myung have received offers to play co-lead male roles and they are both currently “positively considering” their offers. All presumably will play doctors.

Cho Jung-Seok held interviews with various Korean media today, July 15, 2019 and he confirmed that he will appear in “Wise Doctor Life.” Cho Jung-Seok mentioned his fondness for the “Reply” drama series that was directed by Shin Won-Ho and scripted by Lee Woo-Jung. Both Shin Won-Ho and Lee Woo-Jung are also working on “Wise Doctor Life.” Cho Jung-Seok mentioned he hasn’t even seen the script yet for “Wise Doctor Life,” but he wanted to work with director Shin Won-Ho and screenwriter Lee Woo-Jung. After he completes promotional duties for upcoming film “Exit,” he will meet with director Shin Won-Ho and screenwriter Lee Woo-Jung.

“Wise Doctor Life” will first air sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Kim Jung-Hyun cast in tvN drama series “Love’s Emergency Landing”

Kim Jung-Hyun is cast in tvN drama series “Love’s Emergency Landing” starring Hyun-Bin, Son Ye-Jin & Seo Ji-Hye. For the drama series, Kim Jung-Hyun will play Koo Joon-Hee. His character is a businessman and he is handsome, rich and smart. He suddenly disappears though. This will be Kim Jung-Hyun’s first acting role since he dropped out of 2018 MBC drama series “The Time” for health reasons.

“Love’s Emergency Landing” will first air sometime during the second half of this year in South Korea.

Two teaser trailers for OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell”

Two teaser trailers added for upcoming OCN drama series “Strangers From Hell” (literal title) starring Im Si-Wan and Lee Dong-Wook. The two teaser trailers features Im Si-Wan as Yoon Jong-Woo. He moves into a (creepy) apartment building in Seoul. Both of the teaser trailers has Im Si-Wan narrating “Here is hell. A horrific hell made by strangers.”

In addition, “Strangers From Hell” is scheduled to first air August 31, 2019 in South Korea (takes over OCN’s Saturday and Sunday 10:20 PM time slot after “Watcher“).

First script reading for tvN drama series “Melting Me Softly”

First script reading for tvN drama series “Melting Me Softly” took place June, 2019 in Sangam Neighborhood, Seoul. The first script reading had main cast members including Ji Chang-Wook, Won Jin-A, Yoon Se-Ah, Lim Won-Hee, Kim Won-Hae, Shim Hyung-Tak, Jeon Su-Kyeong, Yoon Seok-Hwa, Jung Hae-Kyun, Gil Hae-Yeon and Seo Jung-Yeon. The drama series is the first acting role for lead actor Ji Chang-Wook since he was discharged from the south Korean military on April 27, 2019.

“Melting Me Softly ” first airs sometime in the second half of this year in South Korea.

Kang Ji-Hwan drops out of TV Chosun drama series “Joseon Survival”

Actor Kang Ji-Hwan has dropped out of currently airing TV Chosun drama series “Joseon Survival” according to the series’ production company Huayi Brothers. The production company are currently looking for an actor to replace the main character of Han Jung-Rok who was played by Kang Ji-Hwan. Korean media reported yesterday, July 10, 2019, that Kang Ji-Hwan was arrested at his house in Gwangju on July 9, 2019 for rape and sexual molestation of 2 women. During the investigation, Kang Ji-Hwan stated that he drank alcohol with 2 female staff members at his house, but he doesn’t remember what happened afterwards. He woke up and found himself in a room with the 2 women sleeping. Due to Kang Ji-Hwan’s exit from the drama series, the two episodes scheduled to air on Saturday, July 13th & Sunday, July 14th have been postponed.
